I don't see it like you. If Mustafi is not out of the door before next season starts its clearly means Emery is trying to find ways to get him back into starting line-up.

Pretty well documented that Wenger wanted Manolas but Gazidis forced Mustafi up on him on huge contract. Also Wenger tried to sell him to WBA summer after, also well documented.
Then you have Emery coming in and its clear he wants to make him starter and like was said last season 'fix him'.

Very faulty logic to blame Emery for Mustafi. But I have seen similar from you a lot.
Arsenal has not been able to sell Mustafi because of his many mistakes and they won't sell him for plus 20 million loss when he can be backup, while we need even more CB's.
It's funny how biased brains work, same routes of nerves and thought patterns get used over and over again. Mustafi likely staying has almost nothing to do with Emery, but you can think what makes you "happy".
