Well if you sold Sanchez, Özil, and Ramsey when their stock was high and they refused to sign new contracts you could essily have afforded a squad rebuild
If you dsold them all, you need to replace them too. What would a defender do when you don't have any forwards to score goals?

Any updates on his injury? Yesterday made it very obvious that he's the leader in our team, out of our CB options he seems to be the one that takes control and organizes, no surprise we went to **** when he went off.
Still hope to see him alongside Mavropanos this season.

Anyone know what his injury status is?

Wish we got him years ago, would pay money to watch him and costa go at it.

F*ck me, out for a month, back in training at the end of Feb, we're screwed.

Here's the latest team news update from our medical team ahead of Tuesday night’s Premier League clash against Cardiff City:

Laurent Koscielny
Bruising and soft tissue swelling to face and jaw. Being reviewed on a daily basis.

Sokratis
Left ankle. Expected to return to full training by the end of February.

Yeah. Top 4 is officially out of the question now. Sad, hopefully he'll be back for the latter stages of the EL.

Why screwed? Look at the games he'll miss:
Cardiff H
Man City A
Huddersfield A
BATE A
BATE H
Southampton H

If he can get back for the NLD on March 2, it's not too bad.

Nah because 1 month out is always two with Arsenal.

No worries, just use a back three of Lichtsteiner, Mustafi and Monreal.

If he's back in training at the end of February then the NLD probably comes too soon.

A month is worse than I hoped for, but not too bad.. Big chance for Mavropanos to step up and show he's good enough(although chances are it will be Koscielny-Mustafi for the most part).

Bad timing with the top 4 race but really our defending has been bad all season regardless of individuals.

The worry is there’s no wriggle room. Mustafi is going to have to play every week until he returns because I doubt Koscielny will be able to play twice in a week. If Mustafi or Mavropanos were to get a knock then we are well and truly ****ed.

This is a huge blow, makes it even worse that Mustafi is back to a guaranteed starter.
My only hope is that Mavropanos steps up!
