We've been so rubbish lately that people actually think some players played well last night. I think they were all useless last night. Constantly mishitting passes, missing runs, no off the ball movement. We were stale and had they a better finisher on three occassions we easily could have lost this game.... TO A PUB TEAM!

That was the most pathetic performance I have ever seen.

Positives from some Youngsters and Perez but everyone else was utter garbage.

Have to say that was my feeling after the game - a paltry 2-0 against a side who missed at least three great chances - does anyone want to hazard (no pun intended) a guess at how many Chelsea would've put past them? or for that matter even Watford?

No doubt he'll be popping up in the Jungle next

He saw an opportunity and took it - literally - in both hands - a shame for the players who put their efforts into staying fit and playing for their team

this should have led to a sending off - the officals were unbelievably soft on Sutton - remember when that guy just pushed Sanchez over? Alexis really showed class by not complaining but it doesn't matter what the situation, rules are rules and the ref should've applied them instead of playing to the whole 'romance of the cup' story - 'oh they're this hard-working non-league team, it wouldn't be fair to book anyone would it?' FFS

yes his media career is assured but tbh even before the pie i thought he let the profesiosnalism (bar the fouls btw) of the side down - seriously the average pub side has a reserve goalie in better shape than him...

The fat bloke is not very bright either. To do such a silly stunt and expect that you will not be caught with your pants down is pretty stupid.

I agree, he knew of the bet and he knew a few mates who had bet on it (I heard him say this on the radio this morning, before being sacked) but my point was (as outlined by the previous poster) that this bet should never have existed. Fvck me they'll be betting on who farts the loudest in the dug out next!

Tbh the way gambling advertising has permeated through football over the past 10 or so years is disgusting. Basically grooming kids to gamble and it needs to be far, far more regulated.

Completely agree. There is an age limit for gambling and anything to do with gambling should only be seen by adults. No shirts, no pitch side banners etc. Lets face it, if it was porn being advertised people would be outraged. That too is over 18, that's why we don't see it plastered everywhere.

No argument from me there. This is a system that entices if not encourages gambling. Rotten.

The utter, utter absurdity of running a bet on the chances of a fat guy eating a pie at a football match ffs:rolleyes: Betting shops should be outed and shamed for such stupidity,, unless they are after a piece of the pie;)
Come on now, he's not fat, he's only 322 lbs.

Well, maybe his pants couldn't fit. You never know.
