this should have led to a sending off - the officals were unbelievably soft on Sutton - remember when that guy just pushed Sanchez over? Alexis really showed class by not complaining but it doesn't matter what the situation, rules are rules and the ref should've applied them instead of playing to the whole 'romance of the cup' story - 'oh they're this hard-working non-league team, it wouldn't be fair to book anyone would it?' I agree, he knew of the bet and he knew a few mates who had bet on it (I heard him say this on the radio this morning, before being sacked) but my point was (as outlined by the previous poster) that this bet should never have existed. Completely agree. There is an age limit for gambling and anything to do with gambling should only be seen by adults. No shirts, no pitch side banners etc. Lets face it, if it was porn being advertised people would be outraged. That too is over 18, that's why we don't see it plastered everywhere.
