Seems to be a few links emerging that Tomiyasu could be moved on,linked to a move back to Italy.

We won't accept 20m euro from Inter but also some links that we are interested in Barella.

I'd personally keep TT but a big season ahead, ability wise he's good enought but like Zinchenko and Tierney just the constant fitness issues a major problem.

So Inter want a player we signed in 2021 for a fee in the region of 15m pounds, for 20m pounds? He signed a four year contract back then with an option for a fifth.

I wouldn't negotiate with them again until they start to offer something that makes sense for a change.

Would anyone be surprised if late in the window we move Tierney and Tomiyasu on and brought in someone like Cancelo?

Not saying that's what I would do, but I can see Arteta maybe doing that.

One of Tomi or Tierney will leave if right offer comes but more likely Tierney. Tomi ability to play in multi position wll lead him to stay for this season at least

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
Not buying into that "he can play many positions", he is not good enough for any position at this level and what makes it worse is his injury situation. When we were an EL team he would be fine, that's not the case anymore

Compare him to Timber and you get the idea what's the difference in quality, and both can play "multiple positions"

He very good defender we can shift holding instead of him and make him 4th choice CB Tomi best position is CB anyway.

This rumour is a non-starter FFS. Inter are moving like broke scrubs in this transfer market considering they just reached the Champions League final and made £45m profit on Onana.

I like your thinking - there appears to be tinkering for the sake of it, and such a move would bring clear improvement to the team whilst covering both full back positions sufficiently too.

It appears a route back into the first team at city will not be achievable for cancelo, and no one else seems to be able to afford him. It will be interesting as to whether gvardiol's signing gives cancelo more game time or less.

Some have predicted a man city / arsenal swap deal could take place this season, cancelo for one of our full backs is most likely if indeed anything in this.

Selling Tierney would be a better value as Tomi is more likely to get games than him.
Fully agree, the issue is seemingly no takers for Tierney and that leaves us with too many full backs.

I still hope the likes of west ham come in for him, I rate kt but not in our set up. Tomi is of equal quality and more versatile, it will be a shame if he is to go on the basis of more interested parties.

Tomi is a good defender and showed in hist first season he demonstrated he has the quality to play. He was left in cold storage for too long, brought in and expected to play like a player chasing a league title. I wonder how Timber would respond in the same circumstances.

Thought he was very good when he first came to the club but don't think he's ever looked like regaining that level since. Don't see the minutes being there for him this season either with White and Timber ahead of him.

Would be sad to see him go but if we got a decent offer I think I'd take it.

Inter and Juv are such so annoying clubs to deal with. Never make sensible offers and just waste your time.

What have Inter actually done with the 50M or whatever they got for Onana? Even Monaco is beating them to Balogun

Good is not enough anymore I'm afraid and for the rest I agree, not sure how we ever get him out from that cold storage with such fierce competition.

As I'm saying, Timber set new standards and it's the end of Tommy who should never accept to be Elneny of this team playing a few rubbish cup games per year
