I agree but he yet to become that. that's why i'm bit against throwing big money we already throw big money on Center back who could become elite.
When you think of a homegrown forward who has scored 15 in the league before with no penalties and room to grow. I reckon 35 -40 million is just about right.

The Roma move doesn’t really make sense for him. There’s no saying he’ll go to Italy and settle. Even if we don’t sign him Chelsea will probably loan him out to a team a bit lower down the league like West Ham.
