$tan Kroenke Becomes Soul Owner

Kroenke is spending big money on keeping his star players with the Rams. Huge contract extensions to Donald and Kupp.

Maybe the Kroenkes are enjoying the feeling of winning championships now? The Avalanche are favored to win the Stanley Cup this year too. We need them to get addicted to winning championships in all sports. If they learn to love that feeling, they sure have the money to make it happen with Arsenal, in a league with no salary cap.
Avalanche up 3-1 in the final! Let's hope the addiction sets in!

The argument/narrative that Kroenke’s only started investing into the club since September 2018 because that’s when they became the owners of the club is holding a lot of weight.

No, it doesnt. Its not an argument at all since Kroenke became the majority owner long before 2018. The claim that he couldnt allow big spending (thats what he do since he doesnt spend his own money) before that year is utter rubbish.

Majority shareholder, not owner. From a business point of view, it makes sense for a businessman not to fully invest in his business until he can secure full ownership of it.

Can go far back in this thread and you'll see posts from myself and others bringing up that the club has been spending well for a long time now.

A lot of people bashing Kroenke want a sugar daddy but then ***** about City/Chelsea etc.

The Kroenkes arent the best owners but there not the worst either.

Salary Cap / Floor combined with the Draft system in NHL/NFL basically guarantees that any team gets a decent chance of winning at some point. Colorado Avalanche’s best players (MacKinnon, Makar, Rantanen) were all top 10 draft picks enabled by being ****e for many seasons. NA sports is very very different animal to football in Europe

Wish someone taught our owner about football, he'd sack Arteta with immediate effect and his investment could be put into actual good use.
