When @2Smokeyy @jones went German, I thought they wanted to capture this entire market.

I thought they were also nailed on to pick up Sammer.

He and Lahm were best defenders not picked.

Anyone German you basically are stuck picking them for Bayern or Germany's NT, the top guys who played in Italy were past their peak after 1994.

Also after like ten picks we got almost all our picks snatched. Yours was the worst though you just had to play five forwards with Baggio, we thought no way anyone picks him. leaving us to replace a diamond with a donkey ffs

Yea imo Baggio is genuinely top 5 of all time talent wise, I'd only have Messi as clearly above. He had an all time career despite almost losing his leg as an 18 year old, had he stayed fit he'd have won at least three or four Ballon d'Ors.

Ngl I would have loved Inzaghi in there as I’m sure sims usually favour someone like that off the bench but we have creativity, some brutes in midfield/defence and hitters off the bench especially Diego Forlan who was a demon in WC 2010.

I would disagree.

Real Madrid won two Champions before the Galacticos and for one of those he was the undisputed best player and arguable for 1996-97.

I mean he finished second in Ballon d’Or voting that year (almost definitely should have won).

Add to that La Liga POTS, CL topscorer and the Pichichi. 24 goals in 34 games as they won La Liga.

By almost every possible metric he should be rated that high.

Yeah, he's great but not world class. I would put him at David Villa/Torres level. I would even prefer peak Crespo over peak Raul

Özil, Totti, Alexis gold but Raul diamond...
