The other point is no idea how the ratings work but my Lewandoski got a diamond for Poland 2022 Euros and I’m not even sure he scored

Oh he's done as World Cup 2022 where he scored twice at least.

The ratings tend to favour a player's prime - aka a guy who's delivered a consistent 9 years of top performances like Lewandowski rather than say Arshavin at Euro 2008 where he was great but he came from nowhere and there was probably hesitancy in the ratings incase it was a flash in the pan.

They actually have to be world class players though. Otherwise you’d have guys like James Beattie and Michu on a par with Shearer or Batistuta.
