No new right back.

I get there was a reference a few weeks back to us considering one, but fans have jumped on this and seen it as gospel White will go this summer.

Personally I cannot see it. If he isn't completely broken then it makes no sense, you keep the quality known and maybe even consider him for dcm as well as rb and cb if behind others there.

Shaw has shown at man utd that it is possible for an injury ridden player to get their body sorted and become a mainstay again.

If White is beyond a return then we are not going to sell him either. May as well pay off the contract and write off any resale value, or rely on the emergence of mosquera and salmon as back up to timber if Benny remains unfit when Timber cannot feature.

I mean he’s playing weekly but he’s lost the pace and intensity he had, he’s improved defensively but lost a lot of the physicality that made him such a big talent.

Lots of wish-listing of Alvarez, but i do not see where he fits into our squad.

He is not imposing enough to be our 9, our formation suits someone with aerial capability.

Likewise, if he were to be our new left wing option, would he be a square peg in a round hole?

This season we have already seen Eze and Madueke signed with intention of playing there, but ultimately not done so.

Alvarez is a very good player, but perhaps not the fit we are looking for.

I have similar concerns, even though he's on my wishlist. It's a pure quality signing rather than a signing that actually makes sense from a profile/stylistic standpoint.

He is Barcelona bound and La Liga suits his frame more.

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
