Not sure it's a major trophy to be honest (least for European teams, they will ALWAYS value winning their Domestic Title or Champion League over this) but I will say it's the only "Super Cup" that actually matters.

You don't get a chance to pay competitively against teams from South American and Asia, so always thought it was pretty cool...at least the original version of it when it was just the Champions League winners of those regions, this bastardised version of the cup feels a little meh in comparison...but this is what it is now so we have to deal with it sadly.

Would love to see Arsenal win it.

I guess I can't downplay any trophy right now because I just miss when my team was known as winners too, instead of the kinda joke we have been these last 20 years (for a big club's standards)

We used to be known as rampant trophy winners, with a team that arguably played the best football this country has seen in a perfect home called Highbury, some of the very best players the English league has ever seen and just general innovators of all that's good about the sport.

Instead of the bottle job losers that we are now, the ones with the most annoying fanbase, the ones that are the most bantered in the world these days and just a general unlikeable club now that made a mistake these past 3 years in playing a player that's as bad as any mistake any other football club has ever made that makes it difficult to even want the club to do well right now ffs.

I hate how we sold our soul for the "Emirates stadium" and didn't even get the trophies to go with it lol...it just cost our greatest manager his edge trying to fight with his hands tied, with ungrateful fans who turned against him so quickly and embarrassed the club and are more known for AFTV and chill than actually getting the job done on the pitch.

Chelsea are/were the biggest club in London tbh. Dont think many neutrals would disagree with that.

We currently are the biggest club in London but we need to back it up with a trophy ASAP.
