One would hope this is under control within the coming months but it's really hard to see this not impacting the Euros and Olympics right now.

Euro 2020 will 100% be cancelled and played in 2021.

Once the likes of Germany, France and the UK reach 1000s of cases their leagues will be cancelled for a month or so like Italy have.

If there no vaccine euros and the Olympics will surely get postponed.

Think the best think to do just cancel the season it'll be unfair to alot of teams but there no vaccine and the virus is speared quickly. Better stay safe.
Seen some journalists suggest that the season could be delayed, by playing into June/July and moving the Euros to 2021. Don't know if that means the start of next season would be delayed, otherwise the players would barely get a break in the summer.

Wouldn't it be better to just stop the leagues now...the position each team is in, is their "final" position for this season...teams in the top four currently play Champions League next year, bottom three get relegated etc...otherwise, depending how long this goes on for, just delaying the fixtures could really affect the schedule of future competitions?

Would be devastating for Bournemouth to relegated because they have a worse GD than Watford by just 1. They have to play out the season imo for that reason alone.

Think the teams negatively affected by this would kick up too much a fuss for this to happen, it's what I would probably do though if Riou was in charge...it's a worldwide virus ffs!

Plus, for some reason I really feel Watford deserve to stay up, don't know why though...

It could reach a stage where having these types of discussions (football) is not even credible because it’s become an issue that’s affecting society and everyday lives to such an extent.

Delay would be the only fair way. Some teams will have an easier run in than others, each team must play every team twice, anything else is unfair. If this season finally ends in May 2021 then so be it. Cancel Euros for sure, club football is far more important to the fans.
