They are like mafia ffs
Unless they decide by coin toss that's not a goer...
Either UEFA is taking the piss, or they live in an alternate universe and have not been keeping up with the news from our dimension.
If there no improvement next month there no way season can be done by end of June
In order to finish on the date UEFA want, Serie A determined that they'd have to start again on May 2. That won't be possible with the way Italy is going right now, UEFA should stop being unreasonable.
the clubs will surely ignore this - winning anything this season is going to be pretty meaningless set against the virus backdrop anyway
There's like 30+ companies working on that.
So you're investing in companies that obviously won't be affected by the current state of affairs with their baseline already a bubble, how smart.
Think that EPL will be finished behind closed doors.
Doubt the players would agree to that, after what Rooney said.
Think that they will wait until May or something to see how things will get worse/better and than solve everything.
Somehow most of them want season to finish and not be null and void. Not good idea imo.
Just end the season. We dont even know that the virus will calm down in the summer.
Euros postponed until 2021
Good decision it'll give more time for leagues to ends if there a chance. Im expecting Olympics also postponed until next summer
Only choice possible.
Think it's hard to tell what will happen with leagues. There isn't too much fixutres left, but situation can be worse in next few months.
But logically you cannot have the fixtures played in the next month or two. This issue is only multiplying and none of us how big the problem will be in June.
The whole Corona crisis will. German clubs will have massive losses due to the loss of matchday revenue and the last TV installment. It's already hurting midtable and 2. Bundesliga clubs and eventually it will hurt the big boys like Bayern, too. You can't keep on paying Lewandowski 20m while not making any money through TV and revenue. Clubs below 2. Bundesliga might all go insolvent. It's really not surprising BvB boss Watzke has ruled out helping out poorer clubs because they'll be in deep financial trouble in a while, too. Chemnitz FC has already contacted the state about subsidies. And it'll be the same in other countries.
