He really is the David Brent of the premier league

Arteta proper weirdo

LEGOhead **** booked for histrionics - shock, horror.

Brighton had better get in this game second half ffs

david brent was funny. nothing funny about this piece of ****. actually cant stand him. even neutrals must feel the same hes a ****ing ****

Brighton getting fairly battered here

Arteta booked already lol

Imagine playing for him and having to pretend he’s not a total **** so you can get minutes

1-0
**** winning

Brighton are ****ing ****e

Don't think Brighton have had a single shot

Brighton only themselves to blame, taking huge risks at the back and making sloppy silly mistakes.

Jesus now one goal behind Richarlison....
:richtongue:

Brighton playing like every side did against Leicester when they won the league.

Massively unimpressed with them.

Brighton have been **** but at 1-0 it’s still possible for them to get something

2-0

Those ****ing Gooners are really in a position to win the league with City looking as ****e as they are.

I think it's the inevitably of their goal that grates...

There's a subtle difference in the commentary of their games and ours...
When WE don't score in the first half, it's either "one of those days" or "will Sp**s live to rue those missed chances?"

When the Arse don't score, it's more like; "The goal is coming... they're knocking on the door, and it's only a matter of time..."

Heard it said today, and, though it's subtle, it's THERE!

There's an arrogance about them... Oh **** it, that's 2.... **** off and die you inevitable **** ****s!

Brighton ****ing **** all day. Useless.

**** results

What a **** day

****s 2-0

They're just lucky Forest are diabolical in front of goal, otherwise, they would've been the Brighton on Friday
One of the guys asking “ what’s the difference when we don’t score compared to them “ it’s because we control games like that, we miss chances but Brighton barely got a sniff of goal. Sp**s created chances against Forest, but Forest cut through them with ease, “ all out attack “ is all Sp**s have, they can’t really defend and don’t control games - hence why they went so many games without winning.

This season shows controlling the midfield & having off-the-ball coordination is just as crucial as scoring goals. It's something that, when instructed properly, becomes second nature to the team & allows them to nullify their opponents easily.

On the title race

We're not finishing above them. They're just better than us.

Hopefully city and those scouse ****s get their **** together

They are not that much better than us though. Their squad has not been tested yet. Lets see what happens if they lose a couple of key players for 4 or 5 games.

They've had all the luck in the world so far, even with referees, despite what their uber **** of a manager would have us believe. Gabriel & Rice get away with murder week in week out. That ugly, overrated wee prick Saka can basically do what he wants, he blows for his own fks and pens. White and Ødegaard are always right in the ref's face, throwing insults etc when calls go against them...

It’s unbelievable that we are only 6 points off considering

And it’s woolwich at the top, history recently shows we have every chance to finish above them. We have the realest of real chances to win this year

Just need to keep our heads down and keep winning one game at a time. It's a strange season where all the top teams look like they could drop points every weekend, and even a run of 4 or 5 wins in a row now could see us just a few points off top.

By the end of Saturday, we could be 3 points behind Woolwich.

We caught a bigger gap when we beat them to top 4

Tough lot. But we've gone to the Etihad and Emirates this season and remained unbeaten. Arguably two of the hardest places to travel to in recent seasons.

Either way, it's exciting times. Who thought we'd be even having this discussion in December back in July when everything was looking so bleak.

You really feel like with a full squad top 4 would be nailed on this season and we could have a sniff at the title, but if Romero is injured and we don’t manage to bring in reinforcements quickly it’s going to be a tough next 5/6 games that could see us really drop off.

Squad legit wants the title and believe they can do it.

I’m so ****ing here for it even though nobody outside the club gives us half a chance

It's better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low.

Heard someone on TalkSport yesterday after the Dippers/Goons draw going on about how neither is ready and the league is City's to lose. Reason being, KDB has been missing and he will fix all that ails them.

Newsflash. The key to our high line in VdV, our "KDB" in Maddison, and Bentancur have all been missing for large chunks of the season, and we were unbeaten when VdV and Maddison went down.

We are averaging exactly 2 ppg which is the 5th best in our history. With half the side out.

Utterly and ridiculously good coaching to get this bunch where we are right now.

Can't wait to have the rest back.

the problem with the **** is they dont actually look good but they are slightly better than everyone else it seems. also been very lucky with injuries. if they go on a little 3 game streak of no wins they could fold hard. pressure will get to them.

It's not like they've lost Saliba, Rice and Saka which would be the equivalent to us.

They lost Saliba for the run in last year and that's essentially what cost them the title.

Won't be popular here but think goons will there alright and could even win it if city don't go on the run most people expect them to.City for me still favs think poo are just not good enough so goons most likely next best .

I thought Liverpool and Goons were evenly matched yesterday.
Our best XI is better.

its going to be an interesting race this year. could be the best one ever.

Welcome to the flock akhi 🤗

Oh **** off.

**** off. Season killer

Oh for the love of god

Deserved that we been ****ing ****

We been **** all game

We deserve that really

You just knew it

Kill meeeeee.

We all knew it was coming though deep down

Been **** all a game relegation **** we can’t even beat them

Just got to stop keep giving away two goals a game it's suicidal.

Well of course!!

They got what they wanted, corrupt ****s

But man we are soft defensively!!

Man i'm ****ing furious!!!

I love Ange, but that was not a well managed game, by him, today.

Hope they go down. Wimbledon level hoof ball.

Poor performance all round today.
Hopefully another points deduction for Everton, awful long ball team

Romero gave an assist 1 meter away from the goal ..............

**** Michael **** Oliver and **** VAR! These officials are incompetent ****s and should never be allowed to referee again.

Our managing of games are ****ing atrocious. We completely lose all ability to play football. Several chances to make an easy pass out to relieve pressure and we just sit on it waiting for a foul call.

I almost feel feel we need to be punished with a loss to get it through to our players we have to step things up

We have been ****ing **** today, trying to see out a 2 1 win. Absolutely crap game of football and we are as much to blame for it as Dyche.

It seems conteball again, can't string 3 passes, has more players in every part of the pitch and unable to win one ****ing duel

Well that’s the league done now , top 4 all we got left

We didn’t have a real chance at the league

That’s as Spursy a performance as you’ll ever get. Two points just tossed away with weak as p*as defending on two set pieces in a game that we had any number of chances to kill off.

It’s simply not good enough.

How much Romero has cost us this season...

Spursy

There I said it.

Drawing against that ****ing **** laughable

Our wingers don’t inspire fear in anybody

We concede 2+ goals in most games I watch regardless if we sell Dier or not. We're **** defensively as a team

This is on Ange. Sou just invite pressure when playing with the 3 at thr back. Why?

Two years in a row we crumble late on up there, frustrating as they were ****e second half.

It was Spursy, if a crowd gets vocal and a team pressures us we fold every time.

Pathetic foul to give away by Kulu, **** header from Romero.

So obvious

Villa should take 4th back, now.

Sheffield are ****e.

This game today is why people don't take us seriously when talking about winning the league.

We're miles off winning a league

Sick of watching these clogger anti football teams. Dirty tactics, **** football and snide **** players.

Hope they get deducted another 10 points, dirty **** ****s.

Weekend ruined. This Everton is so ****. We played like a crap.

Well for those few who still thought we were still in the title race, that should have put that to bed?!

The luck Arse gets is actually unmatched. They’re ruining football. This new meta they play is killing our collective love for the game.

I would not shed a tear if the Emirates was nuked.

Pool have looked at half-pace, all game.

So strange.

Ref didn’t know who to back today that’s why Liverpool have struggled.

From 8 points off top to 7.

:ange-arms:

Arteta running around like they just won the league.

Arteta is the most pathetic man alive

Oh **** off. Absolute ****e bunch of useless **** tonight Liverpool

Good result for us.

Commentator with Neville clearly a Gooner fan going on about the Invincibles and how they ‘won’t go away’!

‘Wings of the Liver bird are clipped’

Tosser

What a ****ing ****e footy weekend besides the irrelevance that is Chelscum.

Oh you ABSOLUTE ****S!

Let the wankathon begin I guess...

I assume ArseAnal will be allowed to win this game without a ****ing month long period of mourning and season long forensic inquest like when WE dared to beat them?

**** em all

Apparently this was one of the GREATEST weekends of football in the history of football ever...

I must've missed a meeting!

Bollocks!

weirdo commentator just said "leandro trossahhhhh" like he was denied his 87th hand orgasm of the day.

Saliba and VVD dropping clangers while Micky Van der Mouse is recording top sprint speed scores?

Our boy may just be clear.

:mickyarm:

"On the streets of North London they dream the dream"

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Good result for Sp**s and the chasing pack.

Honestly, until either WE push on and claw back the gap, or Arse drop off and start losing regularly, ANY dropped points for City or Liverpool are ONLY helping Woolwich at the moment!

Right now, I'm more concerned with what Villa and Utd are doing... THEY'RE our main competitors for 4th...

I don't think the standard is too hectic this season. If we could win our next 3, which are all at home to Brighton, Wolves and Palace, we'd be right in the thick of it.

Let's keep the focus on 4th and not get too caught up in anything beyond that. I think being in a fairly solid position and just two points behind AV is not too bad. Yes there will be more ups and downs but we're legit in the hunt so I'm content.

How jammy were arsenals goals man. Every time I watch them they get so lucky

Some of the goals were a tad fortuitous but they played the Dippers off the park for a lot of that, particularly in first half. I wouldn't be getting too worried. They are formidable enough at home. It'll be their away form that will be their undoing again.

We are one point closer to top spot. Will roll over woolwich at ours. Probably by 3 or more goals.

City dropping points tomorrow would be the icing on the cake.

We'll beat City at home so just have to make sure we do the same to Woolwich.
