You really feel like with a full squad top 4 would be nailed on this season and we could have a sniff at the title, but if Romero is injured and we don’t manage to bring in reinforcements quickly it’s going to be a tough next 5/6 games that could see us really drop off.

Heard someone on TalkSport yesterday after the Dippers/Goons draw going on about how neither is ready and the league is City's to lose. Reason being, KDB has been missing and he will fix all that ails them.

Newsflash. The key to our high line in VdV, our "KDB" in Maddison, and Bentancur have all been missing for large chunks of the season, and we were unbeaten when VdV and Maddison went down.

We are averaging exactly 2 ppg which is the 5th best in our history. With half the side out.

Utterly and ridiculously good coaching to get this bunch where we are right now.

the problem with the **** is they dont actually look good but they are slightly better than everyone else it seems. also been very lucky with injuries. if they go on a little 3 game streak of no wins they could fold hard. pressure will get to them.

It's not like they've lost Saliba, Rice and Saka which would be the equivalent to us.

I don't think the standard is too hectic this season. If we could win our next 3, which are all at home to Brighton, Wolves and Palace, we'd be right in the thick of it.

Let's keep the focus on 4th and not get too caught up in anything beyond that. I think being in a fairly solid position and just two points behind AV is not too bad. Yes there will be more ups and downs but we're legit in the hunt so I'm content.

Some of the goals were a tad fortuitous but they played the Dippers off the park for a lot of that, particularly in first half. I wouldn't be getting too worried. They are formidable enough at home. It'll be their away form that will be their undoing again.
