It's literally the most pathetic thing I've ever seen in sport.

If it was a dead rubber game it would still be embarrassing, but they were literally celebrating the fact that they intentionally threw their chances of competing in the UCL the following year.

Noting could ever more perfectly encapsulate the mentality of that club and why they never win anything and why they will continue to remain totally irrelevant. Losers.

And yeah, I don't really rate Postecoglu, but I don't think I've ever felt for a manager as much as I did for him when he was the one guy at that club who legitimately wanted to win and do his best for the club while everyone else was quitting and celebrating failure.

Paraphrasing Ange he said the last 48 hours had shown to him how fragile the club is both internally and externally. This suggests to me that Ange heard directly or indirectly about Sp**s staff and players making comments or jokes about losing to City. Even if it wasn't entirely serious, its not appropriate for supposedly a high performance environment. I would love to know what it was.

They definitely have a big culture issue at the club, previous three managers who have all won things called it out.
