(Please do not go after Baghdatis should he return, we will deal with him). Also note that when we consider people for promotion we read through a few dozen of their posts, so if there are a lot of chatty posts it makes it harder for us to figure out your ability to post on footballing matters.

If the other threads in the lobby end up as "Random Chatting" threads, as seems to be the case many times, we will subsequently CLOSE the GTKTL thread.

In essence, we are keeping this one open with the assumed acceptance by Lobby Members that this will be where the "chatting" goes, and the other threads will stay on topic.


If you have any questions, please let us know, or any of the regulars in the Lobby.

....And now it dawns on me, I have just thrown that 3 and a half minutes of my life into a non-returnable void! GRRRRAAAAAAAGGGHHH big shout in the style of Chewbacca - That 3.5 minutes has been hijacked under the false pretence of usuful returns...

I had this yesterday when I joined - basically you are not trusted to post anywhere apart from 'The Lobby' until the mods are certain that you dont talk complete rubbish on footballing matters...


At first I thought this sounded rediculous, and ... well it sort of does: but hold on a second before you produce your pistols -

Its all about opinions, and I think all the mods want to see - is that you can stand to your OWN opinions and communicate them well, without resorting to too much swearing or insulting others. Also they have had a problem with spammers (losers who just want to ruin the forum by posting rubbish all day long) so that has to be considered also.


I say: WELCOME to the forum I hope you find it as engaging as I have done myself, and whilst its irritating being silenced for seemingly no reason; I have been assured many times that after a few days of posting relevant opinions, you shall be granted this 'special access'.


Im still waiting on that, but im sure the mods know what they are doing So hello and have fun, and I hope that answers your question...
