Deservedly, but he seems forgotten otherwise which he doesn't deserve to be, same for Gilberto Silva.Kanu is one of the gods of football here in Africa
Yep I agree. I think he should've left Inter earlier. What a left foot he had.Alvaro Recoba will be my first nominee.
Although he certainly had a good career, I think more could have been coaxed out of him and he never quite earned the respect his ability deserved. Inconsistent certainly; one week he could be the best player you've seen, the next you'd wonder if he had shipped himself back to Uruguay and sent over a lesser-gifted twin.
But what a player when in the zone. Explosive in his youth, dynamic dribbler and one of the best deadballs specialists of the late 90s and early 00s. Magician.

Adriano back when PES was the dominant football game. Guy was a tank but Recoba's technical stats were amazingRecoba was godlike in earlier versions of PES, however he was partnered with the one true god of PES: Adriano

Lots and lots of underrated players from Northern Europe I'd say, I can make a list of ten at least with just Norwegians.
Rune Bratseth
Claus Lundekvam
Erik Mykland
Kjetil Rekdal
Erik Thorstvedt
Sigurd Rushfeldt
Øyvind Leonhardsen
Hallvar Thoresen
Henning Berg
Erik Nevland
Tom Lund
Some others off the top of my head, Jari Litmanen from Finland, Thomas Ravelli, Ralf Edström from Sweden, some Danes; Thomas Helveg, Søren Lerby, Jan Mølby, Allan Simonsen, and Eidur Gudjohnsen from Iceland I also think is underrated.
