These are my thoughts Arsène:

you know he's available, would be a marquee signing and would give us a push.

He's just a bigger (and judging by that picture, better looking) version of Denilson, though.

He's a lot more positionally disciplined, robust and hands-on. He loves a tackle.

Just heard someone on BBC say Arsenal might be in for Sorensen if Stoke sign Begovic from Pompy. Pinch of salt and all that. Doesn't seem likely though to be honest, we've about 4 keepers now.

Haha, well, I wouldn't say he's had his best season whatsoever... but Fabianski looks more ready to step-up. Then there's Mannone, and the Polish keeper with the dodgy spelling... Sorensen doesn't sound likely whatsoever!

Sorensen could be only a short term and currently he is a better keeper than our idiot.


I hardly doubt this will go through, as only few days ago, Wenger ruled out the possibility of signing a goalkeeper.

I knew we wouldn't sign anyone but there was always that small tiny chance we could have signed someone today and it is hard to ignore that. Would have given the club a much needed lift if we signed some player.

Well West Ham already signed a striker and are linked with 2 more...
Few of us transfer optimists will be hugely dissapointed I think.
Those 30m can surely buy us C.Cole and Akinfeev. Or Begovic, or whoever...

So Fulham with 3 new players on last day, remember when we did that long loooong time ago in 2006 with Gallas, Baptista and Denilson. Actually forget what I just said
