Best of luck to him. He's around Vanarama National level for me at the moment but would be great if he can earn a move to an EFL team or abroad in the summer: I don't think people realise how hard it is to reach this far in a top level football club. My close friend's son got released from Fulham recently after 3 years and he is now 12 so it just goes to show how much effort, dedication, you need to graduate to the first team. It's a very emotional journey....

It's a bit sad as you grow a bit attached to them as players and persons, but you don't get successful relying on only being sentimental. Hopefully they'll carve out good and long careers.

Best of luck young Guns!

Plenty of youngsters that have gone on to make good careers for themselves after being released at Arsenal.

That’s sad, I rated Ejeheri. Very good with his feet. He will be playing in the Premier League in a few years. Watch this space

Yeah, he's your typical modern day goalkeeper. You've got to have good feet now as a keeper if you want to play for a top team.

Looks like Skelly is being converted to left back. It’s a shame, he has a lot of potential as midfielder

Butler Oyedeji has got to be the 'most improved' player in that U21 team.

I'd actually give that honour to Ismail Kabia. Think he's done extremely well since recovering from his injuries. Looks to be very dangerous. Butler-Oyedeji has gotten better in the final 3rd though which is encouraging as I felt that was always his biggest weakness.

Fantastic run from Lewis-Skelly for Butler-Oyedeji's goal. They're really homing in on this LB role. Good to see Edwards scoring again aswell, feel he's a better player than injuries have allowed him to be.

Currently watching U21s play Wolves on the Wolves app

Competitive, bitty game. Not that much quality. Wolves are some big ****ers, very physical. Nelson Semedo is playing aswell. Had a 1v1 against Jack Porter (only 16) in goal but Lewis-Skelly got back in time to snuff it out. It's another case of knowing exactly who the stars are in this team. Heaven, Lewis-Skelly, Rosiak and Edwards look good, Nichols also has been pretty impressive. Kabia having a great battle with the Wolves LB, 50-50 so far.

2-0 in quick succession in the 2nd half.

Butler-Oyedeji from a Rosiak corner (he's been much better this half) and Kabia scored after a counter-attack set-up by Khayon Edwards.

I'm surprised we still haven't signed a new striker on U-21 level. Edwards and Butler-Oyedeji should be going out on loan to clubs in League 1 since they are already 21.

I agree wholeheartedly. Both players need bigger challenges, although Butler-Oyedeji has struggled in League One largely. Edwards too but he joined midway through the season. Both players need that work.

I don't think we'll see a new U21 striker going by what I've seen - most likely it'll be someone like Oyetunde or Kamara used upfront. I can see Kamara doing that role quite well as he's relatively tall for a winger, is good technically and can finish very well.

Arsenal Quotes

The club changed so much, I changed with it and football has changed with us... But one thing never changes: the 90 minutes still belong to the player, 90 minutes during which he is king.
