I reckon that Arshavin will be big money now after that performance. He was wicked.

 

Russia looked a much slicker and cohesive team with Arshavin back. He does look a talent.

Engelaar has had a good tourney so far, but I think he has his limitations. Giant of a guy though. 6'6" or something like that.

 

I thought Afellay was impressive against Romania. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave PSV soon for a top club.

 

Afellay he'd be a quality option out wide and a possible first teamer.

I get the feeling we wont see any more attacking players signed unless someone as well as Hleb leaves.

i would give barca adebayor and hleb for ronaldinho and toure. straight swap.

i think he has been as good as anyone in the Russian team, super left foot,
pace don't know if CSKA would consider a deal but i like.

 

would be great but we can't afford ronaldhino's wages. i think Arsène has said that before (either about ronaldhino or someone of his marketability). i know that this is far-fetched but i would love schweinsteiger, he's a beast and he just flows. I don't think bayern would let him go though.

 

I think Bastian would do well here.
He needs a fresh challenge at a new club, and Wenger is the guy to get the best out of him.

I also don't think bayern will let him go and I don't even think we are interested.

I thought De Jong has been brilliant this tournament, and his game is quite similar to Flamini's.

Considering how tight our budget is meant to be I'm a bit concerned about how many offers we have supposedly made that have been turned down. My concern is in regard to AW's usual policy of not signing many players per season, and that he said he wanted to get things done prior to the Euros. So far unless I'm mistaken the only player we've bid for at the Euros has been Nasri, and now possibly Arshavin - all the other deals that have fallen through have been for players NOT involved.
