What happened to your past favourite Ajorque?

Still big and strong, would have been a great signing for us at the time I wanted him. With Jesus here now he's not required, need a player with lots of potential or a genuine world-class striker.

23

0 Caps for a country who have been desperate for a striker.

0 Goals for the u21s in 7 caps.

Reminds me of the "Look at Vierias assist vs Liverpool"

I don't need to watch clips. i'll pass on this one.
Very lazy way to look at players. Not every young players develop at the same pace and he was bought from second division after scoring 32 league goals. Has done really well for a dead Toulouse team in Ligue 1.

His journey reminds me of viktor gyökeres who is doing great in Portuguese league

£90M Ivan Toney that AM are wetting themselves over is 30 and has 0 International
Caps.

Gyokeres looks great as well but I don’t rate the league he’s in.

We play in The Barclays, son.

So we should only buy from the Barclays? If Arsenal think they can only buy 40-100 million players every transfer. They will not be able to sustain. Being able to find upcoming talents that you can take to next level is a must.

I was only saying it in jest. And no, we should look for young talent from other leagues, but not £35m ones like Vieira.

Sell (summer):

Partey- Fantastic player but a permacrock who can no longer be relied upon.
Smith-Rowe- Painful but it doesn't look like he'll ever get over his injury issues.
Lokonga- Has all the makings of an excellent midfielder but without the conviction to deliver.
Nketiah- Has the skill to be an effective PL player but not one fit for a team with aspirations for the title or CL.

Buy (summer):

Douglas Luiz- Excellent whenever I've seen Villa player & has a good injury record.
Mbuemo- Like Trossard before him, has the makings of an Arsenal player & actually plays in Toney's spot for Brentford when the situation calls for it.
Koleosho- Cover for Martinelli in the same way Nelson is for Saka.

Goes without saying that El-Neny is leaving come June & hopefully, the option on Jorginho is activated, we should be secure with the above additions...provided Tets doesn't buy our 57th centreback of course.

Luiz, Mbuemo and something called Koleosho?

You know we’re back in the champion league right? That window screams Europa Conference League and Rafa Benitez.

Agree, much rather an uncapped 23 y/o from a bottom half team in Ligue 1

We need another midfielder. Not for January necessarily as I think we should use this year as a new base year. Build up ESR and Vieira value and then sell them. Get a creative box to box in similar style as Bellingham, Szoboszlai, Paqueta etc, or play Rice there and get an upgrade on Jorginho, a bit more physical and quicker but same passing and technical ability.

I like Paqueta and wouldn’t mind him at all and I guess Zubi is the one for the other profile. I’m not sold on either, but can’t really see any obvious options outside of them.

Then I think we should try to emulate Liverpool’s attacking option. Maybe not the profiles exactly, but the make up of it. Having 5 players that can rotate those positions would be nice. The drop in quality needs to be less than what it is today. Saka, Martinelli, Jesus are obvious. I’m not sure Trossard is that guy even though I really like and appreciate what he’s contributed with. Nelson ain’t it, but good as a 6th perma bench/squaddie kind of option.

I‘ve liked Toney as an option in January but think it’s probably too short sighted and too much of a “here and now” solution.

Boniface seems like a really good option that has that killer instinct while still being quite all round and decent linkup. Scary injury history though.

Šeško another one, but more for the future and wouldn’t come as first choice.

Then it’s a winger good enough to rotate and compete with both of Saka and Martinelli. Or at least Saka since Nelson will probably be around. Nico Williams compare well to both statistically. Or just go big and get Khvaratskhelia or Leão and use Martinelli in the “Jota” role where he and Jesus could share offloading Saka.

The kid that played for Burnley against us, the one that gave Tomiyasu a hard time & eventually led to their goals.

Seems tidy actually.

Ive been saying it for a while, but I think Khephren Thuram looks a player. Still a bit raw but a young unicorn athlete with excellent feet. He just needs some polishing to pull it all together, but him, Rice and Ødegaard would be a joke.

We need another striker, I read this on Toney today where they say he’s unsure , I actually don’t like Vlahovic, overrated and for the price…

Reports today that Marcos Leonardo will leave Santos in January, seems like a good option for a small fee.

We could literally do what we did with Martinelli and turn him into a world beater.
