I like Martinelli and I think Arteta did a number on him turning him into a head down press robot, a better coach could've nurtured his instincts in front of goal into something fierce. Someone like Ancelotti moves him centrally and has Leao style on everyone from LW on the way to a treble

Fair, think I was looking at league goals only or sth. Still they’re not exactly mind blowing numbers, and Martinelli really should have more assists if Havertz/trossard could finish. And Leao is the main outlet for his team whereas Martinelli really isn’t.

Agree here, I think most of us know he’s an inside forward masquerading as a winger under Arteta’s instructions. He’s looked much better when we play the recent 424 type formation and he drifts in.

Also think that Antonio Silva wants a starting spot. Can't see him starting instead of Saliba. He wants to play for Portugal!

Joao Neves is a great midfielder. Might like to see him as a 8.

His owed wages is over 100m. Literally just google Barcelona wages and you’ll understand how unrealistic this transfer is.

It's not 100m. He was on a silly wage last season and this season as wages were deffered. They didn't just not pay him. They have been paying him back a season and a half now. If anything they probably owe him around 20 million. We need to overpay to get him so they make a profit on the books. I'd say around 90 million pounds.

If we are serious. We do it. Rice and FDJ is probably the best midfield in the world.

I would honestly only do the following.

1. FdJ + Isak
2. FdJ+ Sesko+ Williams
