It's not 100m. He was on a silly wage last season and this season as wages were deffered. They didn't just not pay him. They have been paying him back a season and a half now. If anything they probably owe him around 20 million. We need to overpay to get him so they make a profit on the books. I'd say around 90 million pounds.

If we are serious. We do it. Rice and FDJ is probably the best midfield in the world.

I would honestly only do the following.

1. FdJ + Isak
2. FdJ+ Sesko+ Williams

Yeah basically this.

I wasn’t that hot on him before but seeing Rice and Jorgi has me aroused. Rice + FdJ would be all time man.

Again Google. It’s literally the first result. And by owed I meant how much they still have to pay him over his contract length. He’s on 720k per week (euros).

This is just never in hell happening.

Wait wait wait. You think when a club sells a player they have to pay him the remainder of his contract???

I don’t think rice and de Jong is good match tbh. And it would ruin our balance in midfield

Ofc not. Think before you speak.

We are never ever in hell matching his wages. They are more than double anyone in our squad. And so is no one else btw. So he’ll stay until he’s paid off and then leave for free and collect a nice sign on bonus on top of it. This SHOULD be fairly obvious for everyone by now since we’ve already seen this saga for several years with de jong repeatedly stating that he wants to stay.

Anyway y’all seriously need to learn to google. It’s quite easy really.

You must be joking bro.

Jorginho and Rice has shown exactly why FDJ and Rice would be an absolutely brilliant double pivot. A combination of deep playmaking and excellent ground cover.

The only concern with FDJ would be his workrate off the ball. Because that's the reason we are so defensively brilliant, and would need to continue to do if we want to stay that way. That and the financials of course.

Except De Jong is like the opposite to Jorginho. He is a roamer. He is definitely not a player who sits and is disciplined like Jorginho. You would kinda waste him if you tell him to just sit as you negate his best attribute which is farting runs with the ball from deep

So the problem comes down to money. Which was my initial question.

You should learn to read before you learn to google.

We do rotate in games too you know. How many times have you seen Ødegaard dropping to be our first receiver in midfield? How many times is Rice sitting in zone 14?

The point is that FDJ gives us that ability to play a double pivot and push him up to play as a situational left 8 as well, getting more use out of Martinelli. All this is possible because Rice covers exactly what FDJ lacks, and that is elite defensive awareness.

What. When did I ever argue against it being about money? Hahaha what a ****ing comment. Jfc go back a page and laugh at yourself.

My original post:

How much would FDJ cost? I get the Zubi links but I’m also of the mind that we should go for top top players now. We should be able to afford them

🤦

Now go put your pacifier back in your mouth. Good boy.

Well he's not owed anywhere close to €100m so it's probably you who should be learning to Google.

Jfc you people actually don’t know how to google “Barcelona wages” do you? This is absolutely wild hahahaha.

Ok I’ll be nice and help you with the link I guess.

There you go! Now go read that and keep telling me we’ll sign de Jong this summer. See you in September.

And what was my reply? This is wild. You literally can’t be this ignorant. It’s impossible

Your reply did not include a number. Implying that there was no amount of money which would prise him from Barcelona, which is obviously false. I then repeated the point in the vain hope that you had some redeeming qualities but instead you kept up with your patronising bullcrap and now I’m sat here attempting to converse with a ***** that has the etiquette of a garden variety cave troll smh.

I feel like the one being trolled really.

If you still can’t figure out why this transfer is never happening then ping me in September and I’ll try to explain to you again why it didn’t happen. Him being on 720k should be enough for you to understand really but here we are.

I think without doubt that Bergkamp is the most talented player to have played for Arsenal in the past 30 years, for as long as I can remember
