I think if United are onto Zubimendi, then we need to hijack that if we cant get a high speed, high touch 10 to replace Smith Rowe.

We can have Ødegaard and Rice higher up, with Zubimendi pulling strings from deep.

Imagine FDJ in that role. Has the luxury to build from deep, but then can also move forward with the ball as Rice would then drop in.

Rice being generational defensively also hides a lot of FDJs flaws.

Think the pair would compliment each other perfectly.

Absolutely, that would be some signing actually.

Something like this....

Williams-------Havertz---------Saka
--------Ødegaard----De Jong
-----------------Rice

With that entire midfield rotating situationally (Ødegaard left/right, Frenkie deep, Rice pushing up, etc).

Musiala is an unrealistic dream, but Frenkie is a realistic and very satisfying consolation.

Here's what I will also do however, I'd keep Smith Rowe or give Nwaneri minutes next season. I want to see that high dribbling combination player between the lines.

He was poor doing it at arsenal before Arteta came, that’s all I can tell you. IMO Arteta really turned Xhaka’s career around in the PL.
Again this is just sensationalism and fan narrative with no substance.

He didn’t suddenly drastically change as a player cause of Arteta at 29 years old.

Listen to what coaches were saying about him during his hated days. And how he was always first on the team sheet from Wenger, Emery, Mikel and every coach he ever had. Plus Klopp was a big fan of his and said the same thing.

Can’t let Zubi go under our noses to Old Trafford ffs.

Unacceptable.

I already gave you the stats you’re so addicted to. His errors leading to opportunities/dangerous attacks for the opposition (including pens) must have been really high pre Arteta.

I’m not the kind of fan or person who jumps on sensationalism, I pride myself on being an individual thinker. But Xhaka improved drastically under arteta.

Superb.

Just one bit of delusion I have to point out. Leao costs at least 120m mate :D

The diffence maker. He is complete.

Yes Gyokeres is my preferred "big" signing this season alongside Bruno and Williams/Neto. I hope the links pick up and we get a cutprice of around £60-65M. Would be perfect with and without Havertz. Opens up for 2 up front at times aswell.

Arsenal Quotes

Football is a bit like elections. Before it's unpredictable. After it's unexplainable... But there's an opportunity for us to make it unforgettable.
