Brennan Johnson is actually a very good player who is underrated IMO. Him and Martinelli are roughly the same age and have similar stats. Brennan has made 193 career appearance and has 50 goals, 28 assists whereas Martinelli has made 178 career appearances 39 goals and 21 assists. I think people judge Brennan based on him playing for Tottenham rather than his actual ability and potential.

The questions you should ask are:

* Is the player better than what we have at the moment.
* Has the player shown a level of consistency in terms of goals/assists across a number of seasons based on his age.
* Does the player represent "value for money".

Nico Williams is a year younger than both the players you mentioned and is showing really good potential but I would personally invest in a young teenage understudy with higher potential (Estevao - Palmeiras/Gabriel Carvalho - Internacional) or invest those minutes in Nwaneri.

We will need to get 1 marquee signing: I believe we should be in for Wirtz or Kvaratskhelia for our LW position.

CF: Jørgen Strand Larsen (really impressed with him, has an eye for goal plus super strong with its back against the goal. Perfect target man and ideal back up as alternative for Havertz)
CM: Wharton (I believe we should take the gamble with him. He has the potential with the right coach and could be a replacement for Partey when he leaves).

CF: Jesus (ship him to Saudi please)
LW: Sterling (good for one season, but past its prime)

Estevao has already signed for Chelsea. Williams was arguably the best player at the Euros, certainly in the top 3.

Yeah, I completely forgot about that, beg ya pardon... Yeah he was very good but I think he needs to be watched for another season before pulling the trigger. If he gets good G/A numbers this season then he could be a serious target. Doesn't he want to go Barcelona though? If his heart is set on them then I'd look elsewhere. We need players who will be fully committed.

Marmoush is incredible form right now, has been improving every year as CF/LW/SS in Bundesliga. Statswise very well rounded forward, watching him its obvious he has plenty of pace, technique, dribbles, finishes, etc. If he maintains anywhere near as good form for the whole season he will be great replacement of GJ9 and real competition for both GM11 and Kai. Solid but should be cheaper alternative to Barcola.

Delap also impressed me : great finishes off both feet from minimal chances, pretty decent on the ball, ideal physical traits for CF, surely one to watch if he keeps improving will be solid option for CF and EPL proven.

Semenyo is arguably Bournemoth best player right now, imo should be very good as our squad rotation RW/CF/LW, uses both foot very well so can go inside or outside from both wings, but has physical traits that also fit a CF, a bit of on form and fit Welbeck regen.

We probably need at least 1 maybe 2 CMs to replace Jorg and Partey. One as a like for like replacement for those 2 and the other as an attacking midfielder that can pass/carry the ball and is a transition threat.

Need a striker to replace Jesus

and a backup GK

Those are the 3-4 signings we need guaranteed next summer + young signings to fill out the academy
