I haven’t scouted him heavily but I put on a Frankfurt game and this player is giving tekkers on the right wing, very smooth I couldn’t believe it was their ‘tall lanky striker’, he looked really silky on the ball. Looks like a Unicorn type player who is an alternative to Sesko.

And also, we always expect a clear out of players each summer and it never happens, you always get guys hanging on for dear life. For example I doubt we can sell Jesus. No club will sign him until he is back to full fitness.

I’d be happy to finally sell Lokonga, Nelson, Vieira at a minimum. Sterling and Jorginho look off already and I believe Tavares is an obligation.

I don't actually care what it costs and who goes for him, you blow them out the water for Isak, even if it's most of the budget imo. That means £150M is fine, a once every 10 year striker who's now fully adapted to the premier league? Oh brother.

Isak is the absolute dream signing.

Idgaf if it’d mean no other major signings, I’d still do it in a heartbeat. Get a backup cb/lb for whatever Kiwior and Zinny brings us and put MLS in midfield, or just extend Partey. Loan a backup keeper. Done.

That’s 100% a team with higher chance to win something than if we were to bring Sesko, Williams and Zubimendi.

I think we need to give up on Isak tbh. He is not happening, we're not gonna pay £130m.

Be smart and sign Hugo Ekitike. Sesko for me is a little too stiff in comparison.

I'd add, we should also forget about Nico Williams. I don't wanna hear his name again this Summer. Barcola might be more gettable and we should put the money down there. Failing that, I've become a fan of Semenyo.

Jamie Gittens - my favourite winger at the moment. He's young and not perfect but he has every tool needed to become one of the best LWs in the game. Quick, good in tight space and open space, developing a scoring instinct aswell. Barcola for me is a close 2nd and I think he's more attainable but I think Gittens is better 1v1. Gittens for me gives us a player who can attract attention away from Saka with the ball at his feet. Make them worry on the other side.

Huge Ekitike - I've gone at length about him too but he's potentially a complete forward. The exact profile of an Arsenal CF IMO. Tall, pretty quick, technically capable, facilitates AND scores. Will rightfully drop Havertz, even while he's still quite raw.

Jorrel Hato - another LB I hear you say? I know. But this allows us to do my ultimate wishlist move:

Move Lewis-Skelly back to midfield. He's arguably a better option than most 6s and 8s we could sign this Summer. He's the perfect foil for Rice.

I'll have a go, being a wish list and all:

Think we will try to clear the decks a bit and that will be helped by a couple of players having their contracts run down. Partey, Jorginho and KT all look like they will be off. In addition to this I think there will be a few sales, but nothing major. I am thinking that offers will be entertained for the likes of Zinchenko, Trossard, Nelson, Kiwior, and a few that are out on loan like Lokonga, Viera etc. As good as it would be to clear them all out, I doubt all of them will leave.

I am not exactly pulling up trees when I say this but the main positions we need to focus on are in the final 3rd. A starting ST and LW absolutely need to be brought into the club. Due to some departures I think we will need to add a body or two midfield and then I would leave defensive signings to last. Quite frankly, I would kick the GK can down the road until next season and run with Hein/Setford. We have pissed away too many resources on GK in recent seasons.

Incomings:

• ST: I think we will just go back to the well for Sesko, and I wouldn’t hate it at all, but I would prefer Ekitike. Each have their strengths, but I think it is Hugo’s dribbling ability that puts him at the top of the list for me. 70m
• LW: I am not all that fussed on Williams, particularly with the proposed wages. Get in Semenyo who has greater output and would really improve our transition game. Maybe not as exciting as a Barcola etc but you know what you are getting. 50m
• CDM: I originally wanted to run 2 attacking 8s in front of Rice but Rice’s ascendency as an all-action, rampaging B2B in the L8 role allows me to understand the Zubimendi links. I think he will be an improvement on Jorg/TP5. Its a release clause, so just get it done nice and early so that we can focus on the attack. 50m
• CM: Get Nypan in to help flesh out the midfield as a developing player. 15m

Total 185m

Offset the expenditure with whatever sales you can manage. If there is money left over in the budget then go and get some sort of versatile defensive cover. Hato seems nice but might be expensive.

This season is in danger of becoming the beginning of the end for Arteta. He literally has 1 summer left to get it right. No excuses, pay the money. 5m net spend in last 2 windows is a joke. Here’s my idea.
