Striker - Gyorekes, Sesko.or Watkins.

Partey and Jorginho upgrades - Zubimendi seems like a done deal. Ideally the other signing would be Wharton but realistically Jobe Bellingham.

Raya upgrade - Garcia or any starting GK in league other than Oana or Sanchez would be an improvement over butter fingers.

LW - Preference would be Ndiaye. If not, either Williams, Gordon or Gittens.

I am a simple man.

Buy:
Rodrygo
Gyokeres
Simons
Zubimendi

Sell / Don't extend:
Trossard
Zinchenko
Nelson
Tavares
Lokonga
Partey
Jorginho
Tierney

Not fussed with keeper/defence unless we have someone else leave (although I think we will address these areas regardless of what I would want us to do). Continue to integrate Nwaneri more and get creative with the lineup, allowing the front line to interchange more fluidly. We have been a bit too rigid in the final 3rd for my liking. Movement creates panic, panic creates errors, errors create goal scoring opportunities.

Get it done.

If Rice confirmed Gyokeres then lets add some tricky winger to left and a great passer.

Gyokeres 60

Gittens as LW 50 (Trossard Sell)

Xavi Simons AM 80 (Partey
Released)

Zubi CM. 60 (MLS Backup)

Hato LB/CB 40 (Tomi not counting )

GK. 20

Picking up on pep's message about a small squad, but that we follow this same blueprint to an extent.

Don't sign players who will hardly feature just to stockpile them. Instead look to youth players at other clubs and integrate them in.

Kiwior's role next year should be to a youth player, allowing tomi to get some minutes (hopefully more than ten) in when he returns.

Consider another experienced back up keeper to help our very promising younger keepers develop.

Also wishing we move on the excess players for good fees for once. If we can move players on and don't replace them we have a clear path for likes of nwaneri to get minutes. People here are talking about him being saka backup only.

Given how we treated likes of obi, Hutchinson, heaven, beireth etc of late recently with lack of opportunities no wonder a lot of them move on when they can.

If however the youth team are lacking in positions, look at opportunities ourselves to reinforce with players who look likely to break through to the first team / will command a future profit.

Didn't we recently get £30M for Balogun, ESR and Eddie?

Yeah, but what have city and chelsea got for their youngsters during the same period?

Balogun had a good loan, Eddie and ESR were rare stand outs who got opportunities during a transitional period.

Now we are decent it would be a shame if players cannot break through and leave.

If we didn't have Ødegaard and saka out for months, then nwaneri would have been living off scraps.

The theory is a player of mls' ability would have come through anyway, I am certain however if we didn't have a lb injury crisis this season then he would still be waiting to start his first game of the season.

A very large squad stops players breaking through.

We got decent money for the three stated but how much should we have got for heaven, obi and beireth had they seen a way onto the pitch, nevermind the subs bench?

You're talking hypotheticals with regards to Heaven and Obi, we also didn't receive nothing for Obi. This club, like many others, is also not perfect, these things will be looked at under a microscope because of the lack of trophies.

Man city for example messed up with Sancho, Gittens... It happens.

That's the whole point, Nwaneri is 17 years old, for a title challenging side he shouldn't be playing more than 1000-1500 minutes in a season. He isn't Yamal.

MLS wouldn't be playing as many minutes either, he looks shattered and shouldn't be playing as much.

We have one of the most successful academies in Europe, being able to have Nwaneri, MLS, Saka and soon to be Dowman as part of the first team squad is absolutely incredible?! Our standards have risen, if the youngsters arent good enough it's bye bye.

Heaven left because we have one of the strongest CB partnerships in the world, with backups of Calafiori and Kiwior at LCB, He had no pathway to the first team. It’s same with CF, Havertz and Jesus is like 550k in wages a week, no way would a kid start for us, he didn’t know both would be injured so badly.

It happens. We try to fit talents in somehow into a team going for title and CL, give them minutes integrate them but it doesn’t always work out.

Not sure if his name has been mentioned here but Gonçalo Ramos may be available at the right price.
He is a solid goalscorer but he his behind Dembele at this moment and I am not sure either he is Luis Enrique compatible.

Mrs Bergkamp

Double Dusted
Florin Wirtz. I'm disappointed that we dont seem to have even looked af him especially now rumours of a done deal with Liverpool are circulating. It wouldn't be so bad if Nwaneri had signed a long term contract.

I am a long time ghost in this forum but I have to say this. Kevin Lomónaco from Independiente is a MONSTER of a CB. Has class, composture and its a top one on one defender. The rumor in Argentina is that West Ham has asked for him. Here is a short video with his last match against Boca Jrs.
