Xavi Simons is 22.
Club wants to sell for around 70m Euro.
No bites yet.
P.S. His brother is representing him from this year who is new at this. (As per media)

Xavi at LW is not a bad shout.

But something is weird this year.
Last year Bayern tried to sign him.

Now everyone knows him already.
Football's different these days, everyone has eyes on the product all the time round the clock. Granted, I'm nowhere near as tapped in as I used to be, but every time I think I've discovered a new gem, there's 2 Ben Mattinson threads on them already . It's why when people start wringing their hands about the commentary on Max Dowman I just laugh - he's the Arsenal U18s captain and talisman at 15, of course everyone will know about him.

Yeah. Knowledge these days are immense.

I watched Mexico throughout the gold cup and this kid has been incredible. We will do well to move fast for him

I don't think we're gonna be on the move for players like him for a while tbh, given we have a small handful of extremely promising players all in and around the attacking midfield position already, with Nwaneri and now Dowman both being monster prospects.

We're in dire need of a #9 prospect though. Andre Annous is good but he's the only one who's rated. It'd be nice to see Marley Frohock progress though, he's a grassroots talent.

Is there one particular reason no clubs in Europe want a decent striker in Europe, Victor Osimhen? Only the Saudi clubs & smaller European clubs want to sign him for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with getting Gyokeres, we need someone like him. Just seems interesting to me that no ECL level clubs want him? He's only 25 aswell.

There's been lots of european clubs who have reached out, but they all back out (except Chelsea who he rejected before going to Turkey). The reasons are that he wants insane wages and there's a lot of uncertainties around his injury history and his general behavior. He's a very good striker, but there's a reason why he's playing in Turkey. He doesn't want to play in Saudi, but he wants the same type of wages along with playing in Europe.. also he's turning 27 in desember (he's 26), so he's quite a bit of a risk.

If Lipzeig are willing to negotiate under Simons price tag I wouldn't mind us having a go at Simons down the track, still only rather young too, why not go in for him before his value will move up without a doubt.

I haven't heard about any rumours regarding Hato recently but he'd be a handy depth signing especially if we were to move MLS back into the MF down the track.

I’ve decided that this should be our squad for next season and that it shall win everything.

Gyokeres
Havertz

Rodrygo
Martinelli

Saka
Madueke

Rice
Merino

Ødegaard
Nwaneri

Zubimendi
Nørgaard

MLS
Calafiori

Gabriel
Kiwior

Saliba
Mosquera

Timber
White

Raya
Kepa

We sell Trossard, Nelson, Viera this window (the later two may have to be loans). Zinny too, if we can.

Saliba and Saka get extended.

Next summer we sell Jesus and, if we can’t, Martinelli. Uncomfortable conversations around Havertz may take place if Gyokeres has a solid year and dispels doubts.

Squad would be young and would be just about to hit its prime together. This team would be top contenders on all fronts for a long time.
