Plus, he is PL proven and a London boy. He would have been an England international if he had been more established earlier in his career. I liked Rodrygo, but Semenyo have my preference now. When it comes to the squad we really only need to upgrade the left wing situation.
Getting rid of Martinelli and Trossard should be the priority while signing a new player who can offer something different to Eze.
Pace, power, technique and workrate with that x-factor is what I want. There's literally only a couple of players who can give us that at the moment, and who will be available: Antoine Semenyo.
He really made his name in the league last season and has started the new season in fine form. He literally checks every box. Two-footed, plays equally well on both the left- and right wing, quick, strong, works hard and can both score and create a goal out of nothing.
The only negative things about him is AFCON, a new contract (high price) and a relatively low amount of games at top level, but as he's a bit of a late bloomer that might not be a bad thing as it might mean he can play at a high level well into his 30's.
If Semenyo isn't the one I'd love Antonio Nusa. He's built a bit like a twig, but he's a lot stronger than he looks. The only worrying thing about him is his fitness issues, but damn he's an amazing talent.
