Yeah but the rest of the article indicates that it may be as part of a player & 25m deal for Cesc.......

Yaya "agent" linking Yaya to us, even though I'm not
sure he is Yaya's agent.
His name is Dimitri Seluk
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2559/rumours/2010/05/09/1916121/barcelona-midfielder-yaya-toures-agent-hints-at-arsenal" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2559/rum ... at-arsenal</a>

and Yaya agent is, if nothing changed, Franjo Vranjkovic

Would love us to sign a player like Yaya or Diarra but not if it means Cesc leaving!!! And Skysports's article says that Yaya would be part of the deal for Cesc! No way!

I think Cesc'll be at least another year with us and won't go to Barcelona until Xavi is older.

why is selling theo not an option? he will be wildly overpriced due to his englishness and looks. wenger loves good transfer deals and i can't imagine many deals better than selling theo for 18m to liverpool and freeing up 50k in wages.

Because he is our great English hope, Theo is going nowhere. I think this would be a great time to cash in - English national team winger, good looks as you say.

We could sell this guy to Villa, Birmingham, or perhaps even Liverpool if they have the money. The boy is a complete waste of space, but I imagine he can fetch a lot of money before other teams understand just how bad he is.

You tell 'em, Zico! Arsène Wenger and Fabio Capello are ****ing stupid always picking Theo for his looks. But what do they know about football anyway, eh?

that's a seriously realistic wishlist side and one that would do very well and has a good mix of players.

Joe Cole and Parker would be terrible. If Wenger signed those 2 I'd lose all faith in the man.

Why? An industrious midfielder and a proper wide player. Seems that's what we're missing. Cost of both would be low so wenger can continue to keep the moths in hiding. I'd obviously rather have toulalan and messi but that's just not happening.

Cole certainly isn't a proper wide player, he cuts in every bit as much our lads.

Anyway we have enough injuries without those 2.

Walcott doesn't cut in enough, eboue isn't a wide player and plays anywhere he wants, rosicky doesn't do anything, vela falls into that category too. The only wide player we properly have is shavva, and that's if he doesn't leave this summer. Joe cole has been injured this year but hasn't missed that much in the past, scotty Parker is a bit more of a gamble, but wouldn't need to play week in, week out.

Joe Cole is no more a wide player than Nasri. Neither is Shava BTW. If you want a wide player then we should be signing SWP who is a genuine winger.

With you on that one capi. I'd have cole over Walcott, eboue, rosicky, vela, eduardo, bendtner and nasri on the wing.

If he was worth bothering with Chelsea wouldn't be letting him go for nothing. He's a crock, they know it and they're not going to keep paying him the massive wages he wants to sit on the bench.

Or they know they're going after players (like ribery, aguero etc) who will be playing that same position and cole is refusing to sign as he'll have a greater pick of clubs if there's no transfer fee involved. Bit like chamakh.

My wish list is simple: A real goalie, and to get at least one centreback and at least one midfielder who will Bring back some of the nastiness of the Graham and early Wenger eras.

They, the English media and the fans of other teams (you know, the deluded ones), already hate Arsenal. So, to hell with them: Let's make them really hate us.

What's that old Roman saying? "Oderint Dum Metuant": Let them hate, as long as they fear. I want opponents to once again look at the fixture list and say, "Oh, no, we have to play Arsenal next? Bloody hell!"

I´d sign Mohamed Diame from Wigan. He´s had a good season and he´s already in the EPL. He would be the perfect cover for Song and he´s more solid than Diaby.

We all know that Wenger wont spend big bucks on Melo or Yaya. I think that we can get Diame for a bargain price.

He scored an insane goal against Sunderland.
