I've been told by a Fulham fan that the rumours in their world say we're in for Hangeland again. I'd love that.

Mata would fit in nicely here. Honda too

It's time for one of those dreamteams again.

    -----------Pazzini
    Nasri-----Fabregas-----Lavezzi
    --------Montolivo-Song
    Clichy-Vermaelen-Djourou-Sagna

Hangeland ? The last thing i remember is watching him talk about how players keep changing clubs, that their should be continuity and that he doesn't like moving. Hangeland would be IMMENSE, rate him highly, unfortunately there's mark hughes@fulham so this is not happening, also their CB options are dire, very very unlikely.

It wasn't too long ago that we used to be linked to all the top players around the place. I look at the threads these past windows and feel depressed........

How about Sulley Muntari as a midfield option? He's transfer listed by request and he does have tenacity...

    Agree with Bossa.

I'll just reiterate how much I'd love for Arsène to buy Alexis Sanchez.

Wouldn't mind if Cesc leaves and with move Nasri into his position with Alexis Sanchez and Hazard on the wings...

That would make us weaker. Why would you wish for something like that?

A couple of FM names from out of the hat:
    Federico Fazio - CB/DM cover;
    Adil Rami - CB.
Both are as tall as JD, but don't expect that either would be 1st choice as such to start with as they are early-mid 20's.
Anyone know anything more about them/suitability as cover options?

I personally believe that FM overrates Fazio.

As for Rami, I've heard nothing but positive comments and have heard many say he should be a starter for the french NT. I haven't seen much of him though.

Adil Rami was signed by Valencia this transfer window, so no chance of him coming here.

Yeah was only thinking of Fazio in regards to covering 2 positions we are short in, and that he shouldn't be expensive.

Ramos had a bust up with Ronaldo and wants to leave Madrid asap after rejecting another new contract. French paper Le Parisien also says he wants to join us.

    Wouldn't mind tbf

He'd be a great Eboue replacement. I wouldn't have him displace Bak though.

He'll probably end up at Eastlands.

Ramos would be a major signing. He'd be great cover for Sagna, but would more than likely be a certain starter next to Vermaelen. It's great that he apparently wants to join us, but he is way out of our price range - especially for a defender. As qs said, he'll end up at City, or even Chelsea. How long does he have left on his contract?
