I want to see use the ball to pass teams off of the pitch and with movement like Auba's up front we'd be beating putting up goals for fun.

My choice for #10, rotate with ESR.

Pereira seems like an excellent fit.

It’s just our luck that we spent 72m on Pepe when we did as there are many left footed ballers in the PL at the moment.

Surprised Brazil are sleeping on Raphinha and Pereira, they should have been given a chance at the Copa America.

Pereira is a good dribbler but his teamwork and decision making are not very good. And sometimes a bit too direct in the play.

Players like this can help the team to control the match, and help the team to pass the ball into the opponent goal.

That's bang on actually. Really good footballer but too egotistical. Watched quite a lot of West Brom last season and there were many times where he was too focused on doing everything on his own that he was sleeping on his teammates who were trying to support him.

Reminds me a lot of Alexis actually. It can definitely ruffle some feathers. Perfect player for someone like Wenger. I don't think he can work under Arteta's micromanagement.

If a player is as skillful as Sanchez. I don’t mind them taking on players. Because the success rate is high, there is a high chance that they can keep control of the ball and not losing it.

However, they should only be strikers or wide players. Central midfielders and attacking midfielders should be more about teamwork, creativity, controlling the play, and keeping the team tick.

It has nothing to do with Wenger or Arteta’s micromanagement. The modern positional play approach that Arteta uses is used by many different top modern managers, it can be attacking/defensive, it’s not about the style of play, it’s just about telling your players to occupy a specific space at a specific situation.

This is the micromanage part that people criticise Arteta for. However, in reality, it’s not because of this that Arteta is not doing good. The staying deep and rely on counter attack, plus the cross spamming instead of passing the ball through the opponent approach that made Arteta unsuccessful.

Considering he played the most progressive passes in one of the worst attacking teams in the league, I cannot agree with this. Riqui Puig is also a deeper lying CM and not what we need in an attacking midfield position. I don't really have much time to go over this again, but we need players who provide END PRODUCT. It's no point having good possession players with nobody to make the brave decisions at the business end. This doesn't seem to resonate with you but I'm going to state it again so my position is ever clearer .

Agree, we need more End Product.

Where does end product comes from?
Chance.
Where does chance comes from?
Possession.
So more Creative Players means more End Product.
Plus there is a bonus of that.
Beautiful football.

What does End Product Players means?
Less control.
What does Less Control means?
Less Chance.
What does Less Chance means?
Less End Product.
There is a side effect of that.
Boring direct football.

2 RBs, really?
We have 4 players that can play there, 5 when White becomes official.

I’ve thought Yusuf Yazıcı wouldnt be a bad rotation option. Plays all over the front 4 and gets goals and assists. Lille could use the money.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Still dreaming of Sterling if City snag Kane and Grealish. Maybe Mikel made a great cup of tea at City?

Auba, Sterling, Pepe, Saka, Martinelli, ESR, willian, Balogun. Wow oh wow! Possibly space for Tammy if we send Balogun on loan.

----------------------Auba
--Sterling------Pepe/ESR-------Saka--

Is what I would go. Pppodition would ahit themselves.

Trying to go for realistic transfers.

Leno
RB White Mari Tierney
Partey CM
Pepe CAM ESR
Laca

RB
1. Baku
2. Aarons

But, i wouldn't mind if we went in with Chambers/Cedric for this season.

CM
1. Koopmeiners - left footed, set piece specialist, young captain, can score goals, can fill in at LB while Tierney bombs forward.
2. Bissouma
3. Renato Sanches

CAM
1. Bernardo Silva
2. Aouar
3. Maddison
4. Pereira

*Saka to be eased back in after a few games and rotate with Pepe/ESR/CAM.

You have players like Chambers, Holding, Tavares, Lokonga, Willock, Willian, Martinelli and Lacazette as plan b players who offer something different to those starting.
