I remember Barcelona's manager or players saying they were afraid of Theo. Nothing's changed. He's the player who other players hate playing against.

Yes, that's what they want us to believe.

Of course, i think everyone on this planet understands that immediately.
It is like on fifa where you have that one player who is faster than all others, play the the ball in front of him, run past the defender, shoot.

But it does not help a lot if that player lacks almost everything else.
Over 10 years as a professional footballer at Arsenal (one of the biggest football clubs on this planet) and Theo sometimes looks like my grandma trying to stop a simple pass.

I remember Barcelona's manager or players saying they were afraid of Theo. Nothing's changed. He's the player who other players hate playing against.

They hated playing against him because he was absolutely rapid and they played a ridiculously high line with a very slow defence , any half decent ball and he'd be in on goal.
I remember him having the half to himself and setting up Bendtner, I also remember Pato running through their defence from the half way line.
It was just his pace and movement that scared them (he doesn't have anything else) and something has changed, he isn't as quick.
Don't get me wrong he's still quicker than most but that blistering acceleration has deminished slightly.

What he does, Welbeck does better. He'll more than likely run out his contract and go to another London club for far lesser wages.

Bravo

Theo managed to score 10 premier league goals this season, his second best goal tally. He also managed to win 12 games out of 24 for Arsenal. Well done!

I don't think we will. He isn't even a nailed on starter anymore. Why would we give him a bumper deal. He is earning a fortune already.

Because that's what we've become, a club being held at gunpoint by the likes of Theo, a player with nothing to show for in ten years in the league.

AL the gooner

Questionable film taste
Hes been a decent servant for us, scored a couple of goals in cup finals, but we ll never win the league with him in the team. I dont see the point of keeping both him and giroud, but Giroud would provide something different, Walcott is like the other options, only isnt as strong as Welbeck, as skillful as Sanchez, or as clinical as Lacazette if we get him.
Even if Sanchez leaves, Id rather sell Walcott and sign Mahrez, at least he has produced the top performances in the premier league before, so his ceiling is far higher.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
