They are called Referees and they are TERRIBLE

Do you think refs consciously treat Arsenal differently than other teams?

Bad decision on the week was for Pool anyway who got a foul outside the area given as a pen by Michael Oliver who is clearly team Arsenal

I've no complaints about the ref yesterday except with the allocation of yellow cards. Finally should have been sent off and Webb needs to explain why this rule stopped being enforced after Arsenal compkained/matchday 5.
As for VAR, the initial promise was that it emi automated offside would be introduced after one of the internationals. Three internationals in and it's all gone very quiet. It should be ready to go from Boxing Day imo.

You had few complaints actually.

The referees were bloody awful but its easier to let it slide when we get away with the win.

I like how we have adapted and are not kicking the ball anymore after whistle. Subbing Jorginho off when he is on red alert. No other team has to do this so we are not playing on fair field but we have accepted it so lets see!

But ignored clear push from Konate and Kelleher misjudged the ball and kicked Southampton attacker could easily be penalty for both. In summary these guys are awful

Yes, the referee was bloody awful. It was so so obvious he was itching to give us a red

It's been a while since we've got away with a win but I take your point. We can keep our powder dry and see if the refs are still against us later in the season when we try to get tactical yellows to miss an "easier" game. As for me having few complaints, you're wrong. have a lot of complaints that I've resigned myself to only being dealt with by the introduction of semi automated offside and foreign officials.

Well, well, well. So now Cootes is being investigated for discussing giving a player a yellow before a match where he did go on to do so.

They should investigate all the PGMOL referees. They are corrupt.

I wonder what will happen at the game at Anfield this weekend. Three of the officials hail from Manchester 🤔

I just watched back the end of the game at the Etihad because I wanted to see the Haaland "stay humble ehh'" mess. It just made me mad.

It was so evident how fraudulent the extra time they were given was. It is actually outrageous
It was evident at the time, but then to be told that the second half of the game was the game where the ball was in play for more time than any other half in the PL this season is just disgusting. And yet they were given almost 10 minutes?! The so-called fans that blame Arteta for where we are just need to do one. And the PL needs to 🤬🤬🤬 themselves. The heartbreak on our players' faces after the shift they put in! 😡 Who would blame them if they leave the club for teams where they will be actually treated fairly?

Why are Arsenal not suing the PL for this and the red cards? We have had second yellows for 'delaying the restart' when multiple players on other teams have not multiple times this season. As a fan I feel like suing Arsenal for not standing up against this corruption. Maybe we need to start a crowd funder..

It is not a coincidence that all of a sudden after the Cootes scandal City are suddenly being referreed normally. It is so obvious that people are commenting on it. We have been referreed normally too this weekend.

To say that we have been refereed normal is a stretch. Normally I wouldn’t have thought about it, but after this start I do. Whenever a arsenal opponent fall down they get a free kick. I think of west ham second and a couple more wrongly given free kicks this match. Also in the chelsea match was their second goal in the aftermath of a free kick. More subtile but still blatant cheating…..

Another thing I noticed after this scandal is that oliver isn’t the clear topreferee for city-Liverpool anymore.
