They are called Referees and they are TERRIBLE

Do you think refs consciously treat Arsenal differently than other teams?

There will never be any progress full stop. Until some calciopoli level recording is leaked that implicates Webb and the organisation itself nothing will happen.

Everyone arguing about "fans need to unite" is in the bargain stage, have a word ffs the PL doesn't give a ****.

Yeah totally, let’s just keep doing what we’re doing, it’s totally working. If there was a united front against PGMOL it would absolutely do more than one club going at a time. What are we, goons fighting Batman who rush in one at a time?

It annoys me when I see arsenal fans who can’t empathize with the obviously missed Red against Everton vs Liverpool with the “oh yeah, well what about so and so…” it’s not so hard to just empathize with them and it would be way more constructive. Instead the lizard brain takes over and people get the short serotonin boost from trolling.

If all fans and clubs were demonstrating vs PGMOL, it absolutely would force changes.

Where's this certainty coming from lol, when did fans ever change anything? The PGMOL has been doing this for literally decades but yea sure they're shivering at the thought of a united front of EmeryCouldnt from AM and OleShouldnt from Redcafe.

Only way anything could theoretically change is if the clubs themselves organised a protest with others in the league. Threaten a walkout unless something changes and there's a chance but not seeing that happen either any time soon

Just realised that England was on VAR duty when MLS was sent off in the most laughable red card ever against Wolves, These guys are such clowns, it’s an absolute disgrace.
And this penalty decision is the most laughable I've ever seen. Same referee and same player. You can't tell me it's not intentional

My position precisely.

PGMOL's actions smack of corruption, and if/when corruption is involved (I live in a country where we live and breathe it), it's almost impossible for people with different affiliations to band together to demand change, no matter how it's much needed and talked about.

When corruption is involved, the corrupt become even more confident in their pervasive actions over time, knowing they'll never be held accountable for anything. They'll use every means necessary, including state apparatus, to quash any form of dissent.

A leaked recording may trigger it, but it'll most likely take at least 4 of the highest grossing clubs in the league to threaten a pull out of the league for much change to happen.

Now I'm beginning to think the super league was a good idea.

They are more and more blatant.
They are so comfortable that they can get away with the corruption that they don't even try to hide it any more

And that’s because fans are always happy to revel in rivals having misfortune. I’m not saying I’m going to force a change from AM. But if Arteta can win most handsome manager, anything can happen.

They awarded a penalty against Saliba for winning the ball and then the clown opponent grazing his head after the ball had gone and going down like he'd been shot. I watched Doucoure I think it was yesterday actually pick the ball up to delay a restart 2 feet from the ref and not be carded. Anyone trying to say we're refereed in a normal way, particularly relative to this Liverpool team is blind or stupid.

I can't see fans can do anything they dont hold much power and if they do PGMOL will say our refs getting abused. clubs need to do something about it
The question is WHY are clubs not doing anything about it?

The PL obviously DGAF and have shares in PGMOL.

Disappointed in my club.

I will not be buying TV subscriptions, shirts or tickets next season. They can whistle for it.

If everyone did the same they'd soon have to fix up

This is exactly right. The supporters actually could have an enormous impact by boycotting. The real money in football comes from advertising.

These advertisers want eyes on football to maximize the number of people encountering ads for their products. If they think viewership is down because people are disgusted with the standard of refereeing and they in turn threaten to decrease their investment or pull out all together, the issue will be sorted overnight.

Actually organizing the millions of people who watch football into a targeted boycott is a different sort of challenge which makes it unlikely but IF it could be done, we could fix the game very quickly.

It works. I am just waiting until everyone has copied it, then I shall come up with something new.
