You can see that opposition players feel emboldened to basically attack us. Remember that Fofana incident, where he basically smirked as if to say "and what are you gonna do about it?"See refs start actually fairly protecting our players, when the title is 99% gone.
Cheers English FA, bunch of old wankers![]()
I don't want to be crying over refs for the entire season, but this is the same ****ing ref that 'had no choice but to send Rice off'
They always seen to intepret the rules in those marginal situations in just the right way to screw us over
Both are clearly out of play but the Newcastle one gone with ref decision same with us VAR just couldn't say no you wrong to ref in Newcastle game because they mates. But doesn't matter majority of league lost faith in them getting angry ain't gonna do a thing. One of those angles is looking along the line and you can see the gap. The other is not and there’s no evidence it was out of play to show the whole of the ball over the line.
Absolute desperation to prove the refs are against us.![]()

They'll need to put better camera angle because these things happen during the gameBoth are not clearly out of play, you can't judge that Newcastle pic given the camera angle. Timber's was out of play.
Unfathomable really that we don't have the technology / camera's to judge these things properly. Somehow the goalline technology really only applies to the ****ing goalline.
What did you think about the refs in the Wenger era?One of those angles is looking along the line and you can see the gap. The other is not and there’s no evidence it was out of play to show the whole of the ball over the line. Simple geometry.

Refs are refs. They’ve always been making mistakes. But I think they’ve improved since VAR. The nature of the rules though, allowing for interpretation, means that even VAR makes some mistakes. It’s just part and parcel of the game. What did you think about the refs in the Wenger era?
