They are called Referees

Do you think refs consciously treat Arsenal differently than other teams?

Things will never change until the best players consistently call the refs out and demand that the leagues do something about these officials. Everything the league is getting away with in terms of fixture congestion and match fixing through the refs is because the players are too weak and disorganized to grab their leagues by the balls and explain that there is no game and no money without them.

Its funny because its first game in while where I thought he was fair against us but when he tried to mess with Saka head before the penalty I was 'ah, there it is!'
Never seen that before. It was clearly ok to begin with and he still stood there for another few seconds for no reason.

Maybe he had money on Ødegaard next goal and was fuming Saka was taking it?

Coote is ****. Just a notion from earlier game where he gave that ridiculous double yellow for Tomiyasu.

That penalty shenanigan from Tierney was something I have never seen. The ball was 5 cm in the penalty spot, and Tierney tried to mess with Saka's head by complaining about it. Putting it in the middle of the spot, which never happens? It doesn't need to be there? Then Saka put it back to where it was, a bit further, and it was fine? Will we ever get an answer what Tierney did?

I counted 2 minutes 90+ minutes where the ball was clearly out. Fulham player for example was "injured". Then there were corners which take time. And Tierney whistled at 1 minute mark, so it was 1,5 minutes too early at least. Which can make or break a game where you're at home with 11vs10.

The commentator in Finland said that Arsenal doesn't have good record with Tierney in recent times. It's no wonder. It's these small things these referees try to make, so it's not clear bias.

And yes, Arsenal wasn't great, and it's never about that. It's about this BS we always see.

Another thing I noticed was how Gibbs-White got a yellow for not kicking a freekick against United after the whistle, in 10 seconds? WTF? 10 seconds for a freekick? The game is gone. And that straight red was very 50-50, because Boly (or some other defender) was very close to getting the ball. It was not through.

3rd matchday and everyone pissed. This season gonna be messy.

Also how many times its involve Atwell🤣
This is what I'm talking about. It was not a red card, you have to be very willing to give it. Boly was there coming very fast, and the foul wasn't that big either. The player didn't have the ball.

It's ridiculous that in these circumstances they give the referee's first choice such a value, when it's clear he doesn't see the situation from a proper view, who near the ball. So the VAR can't "overrule" the first decision as "it's not obvious mistake".

Watch this same situation happen to Arsenal, and it's not a red, because there is a player getting to the ball.

Saliba was for example getting to the ball when Tomiyasu got the 2nd yellow. Didn't matter at all. It was never a red card for many reasons.

I would say it's a penalty. Not clear, but there is a hit and the defender is not close to the ball.

They won mostly because of the red card. Watch similar situation for Arsenal being not a red when there is another defender possibly getting to the through ball.

My goodness how VAR let this happen? Oh yeah never mind this actually embarrassing how is this a penalty if this penalty then eze one against us should be penalty too the standard of the refereeing man

I do think that is a penalty. Rashford was going through with the ball, and there was a hit to the knee and later to the foot. It was enough for Rashford's movement towards the goal. His right leg went left because of the hit and he had to fall at high speed.

The problem was the red card, which should have been a yellow. There was another defender very near, and the player didn't have the ball at all in his control, he was going for it like who I think was Boly. It's very harsh as the defender didn't even make a big foul.

It doesn't look good when many decisions go towards Manchester clubs and most of the referees are from North.

I can't also understand why we never see the replays or the lines in certain cases.

The ball looked like it's outside, so it's a red card situation. I know Hradecky got a red in this kind of situation.

And Arteta got a yellow for protesting it.

Why no replay or lines?

refereeing wasn't the reason we dropped points today - we completely switched off thinking the game was won when they went down to 10

They are inept for sure but when it comes to Arsenal it is obvious corruption against us also.
The referees clearly favor and disfavor certain teams. ManU usually get the good call and we get the bad calls. I am 100% convinced that with non bias referees we would have won more league titles and placed higher on averages and ManU fewer and placed lower on average. Without any doubt. 💯

He got a red playing for us handling the ball outside the box, didn't he? Against Wolves away or something. During the COVID lockdowns. Well, he isn't wearing an Arsenal shirt now that is for sure!

Kind of funny that Martinelli didn't get a foul and a corner got given. Seems to me that it usually ends in a free kick every other time I have even seen a player apply pressure in that way near the corner flag.

Refs just try to manipulate results. The pressure the officials piled onto Sakas penalty was ridiculous.
