Other clubs may be unhappy but only Neville has been openly critical. Personally, I don't think apologies from repeat offenders should be meekly accepted in the name of fake sportsmanship. We should have argued the Brentford error last season but tbh, we didn't have the standing as a club or the hogh profile manager. As far as i understand, the other clubs are unhappy how liverpool have handled it, because these things happen to most other clubs at some time also. There is nothing unique. I can't see how this is any different to the brentford vs arsenal decision last yr in that its a procedural error. We were in a more serious position, winning the league at least 2/3 of the way through the season, yet those in charge of arsenal acted like adults.
