Thomas Partey: Ain’t No Party Like A Thomas Partey

Yeah we miss him today but wouldn't made huge difference.

Still you can't miss this game because you wanted to fight Madrid player in game where was done.

Unreliable, either let's you down or misses key moments, club haven't achieved anything tangible since h signed and have actually had numerous embarrassing defeats.

Shocked he has such a backing from our twitter fans too, this is his best season here and that's us 15 points behind first lol.

Just want him gone, tbh.

It’s a basic point to solely blame it on the missing of Partey as to why we failed today.

However, missing him meant that we had to move 2 of our best 3 players vs Madrid (Rice, Merino- 3rd man is MLS) out of their position.

Rice looked uncomfortable defensively at 6 for their goal- positioning was poor, and although Merino put in a decent shift at CM and Trossard at CF, we did definitely miss our midfield shape with Merino up top.

Interesting take. Alternatively, since he’s signed we’ve had 2 genuine title challenges (our first since 2008) and a CL semi final (our first since 2009). Availability has of course been an issue but I can’t believe you watch him and don’t believe he is absolute quality. We have only had a handful of central midfielders as good as him since 2000.

He's a great player, just can't like him anymore.

Feel he's a bad omen too, the fact we haven't won anything in 4 years and counting is shocking.

Yes that true we also looked more balanced with merino upfront than Trossard who really failing to hold up play or pass. Merino at least would be better in these things that what helped us against Madrid

There might be legs to this. The worst United side in modern history got rid of their bad omen and fluked a couple of trophies immediately.

Some might say it's karma that we're probably going to end up trophyless again.

We would be 30 points behind and out of the CL without his performances. I get you don’t like him but have a word.

Don't try rewrite history, he has dropped loads of stinker performances this season. With most people putting him down as "drunk" and being let of from criticism.

No way has Partey been anyway near as consistently good as Gabriel, Rice, Saka, Timber, Saliba and MLS.

Two seasons ago our best player? You've got be joking? When Ramsdale, Saliba, White, Martinelli Saka and Ødegaard were all consistently very good in a season where we first challenged City for the title. Ødegaard, Saka , Saliba and Ramsdale all made the PFA team of the year. Partey was worst player each season prior to this.
such bs. not rewriting history at all. he has been the best DM in the league for the past 3 seasons besides Rodri. . You are just blinded by your hatred for him.

People can talk about how much he was missed, and I can understand why.

But whose fault was that?

Is Zubimendi as good as Vintinha?

Vintinha is like a small pocker dynamo who keeps things ticking. Not sure if his lack of size will be detrimental in the premier league. But goddam, our midfield couldn't handle him yesteryday. He just pulled all the strings.

He is no Vitinha..Zubi has looked bang average whenever I've seen him play. Pretty sure we'll see the same problems in midfield next season as well.

The moment he lost his head like a f*cking imbecile at the Bernabeau, he signed the death knell of any chance he might have his Arsenal career extended. I wanted him gone the moment I learned of his sordid life off the pitch. Now, it's simply reinforced by him being derelict in his duty.

We need to excise him completely in the summer & look for a player with his profile that is younger & with a sturdier physique.

And the club hasn't achieved anything with saka playing every game either.. So I guess we should ditch them all?

Vitinha post match interview was more eloquent and intellectual than any epl players I ever hear..

Arsenal Quotes

I've got the best goalkeeper and the best centre half. All I need are the best wingers and the best forward. It doesnt matter what the rest are like.
