Why u comparing football to a sport that is basically netball for boys 😁

'Physical Basketball' is nowhere as near as demanding as football. Its non contact & the players on average run for 2.5 miles a game.

Footballers run on average over 6 miles a game & people are kicking you as well as other forms of contact.

Check on Aussie Rules football and get back to me on how hard soccer is

You forgot Bellerin lol. And even Fabregas. Honestly those guys were playing too many minutes as teenagers. In the most physical and competitive league in the world. It can't be coincidence. Hopefully Saka can be spared.
Doubt that. To be fair, Rooney was one the most physical teenagers. Exhaust at 30. Saka will need to move to center in the late career.
Then you have Messi, similar to wilshere but never broke down
Messi would be broken down if he grow up in a PL team.

Really not himself today. Seemed to dither on the ball far more than usual today and wasn't closing the space down effectively at all. Obviously a really inopportune time for all 3 midfielders to be poor.

Is fasting taking its toll? Hope he and his MF pod all feel and do better next week
Depends because he recently converted so this is new to him but wasn't bothered he had decent game but by his standards it could be lot better. Rodri and Casemiro struggle at Anfield too.

Really needed him to assert some more control at the start of the 2.half. Did pretty well I thought, Anfield away is the most difficult ground to control a midfield in. If you`re not Abou Diaby of course.

Surprised to see the criticism, I think he did really well. Made some lovely tackles, key clearances and got us on the front foot when he could.
He wasn't awful but this is a guy who we're used to dominating matches and shaking off pressure for fun so it was odd to see him looking uncomfortable under pressure against Liverpool's slow midfield. To be fair though, the whole unit struggled after that first 30 minutes. It's certainly not like he was alone in that respect and he was far from our worst player. It was just surprising given his usual level.

I don’t think it was confirmed he converted the whole story was a bit odd - read in multiple places it was some kind of joke/misquote that got out of hand and mixed up with general confusion whether he got married or not.
