I saw alot of people saying he had poor game. Did they even watch the game? he single handed dominate the midfield didn't let James play his game even after the yellow card always trying to pass forward its not his fault he playing with bunch of scrubs and 2 youngster who just started thier career.

Nah he doesn't even try hard enough. When he got the ball, he just passed the ball quickly without much creative thinking. He's just trying to do the bare minimum. He's still partly and highly responsible for the team's downfall this season due to his predictable football and slow ball passing and movement.

He knows he's just one year into the premier league. He knows he will be given an excuse for poor performance.

There moments of that poor quick passes but the quality is clear imo even an poor Partey he make our midfield look better.

Pretty much useless player.

Quite slow, not enthusiastic enough. Poor at dribbling. Not involved in one-two because he doesn't run forward after passing. He's focused on passing only and doesn't try anything outrageous. It isn't a bad thing but you expect more. A lazy player who passes the ball whenever he gets it and then doesn't run much after passing. Basically, he was happy with his new contract at Arsenal and stopped trying. NOT AN ENGINE AT ALL.

Many players are better than him. Ceballos supposedly was only available at 25 mil is more technically gifted on the ball and tries harder. Now they have a Ceballos who is on loan and playing 1 in 2 games, disrupting team play and understanding because the line up keep changing every week.

Also, a central midfielder absolutely need to know how to shoot and Partey isn't a very good shooter. Look at those winning clubs and their central midfielders usually are very lively, very involved in play and love to shoot. Look at Scholes, Lampard, Bruno, Gundogan vs players like Özil who doesn't dare to shoot anymore. I think that even Fred, McTominay or Elneny are better players than Partey because they dare to shoot and can shoot decently well and willing to run more.
Ceballos and Partey have different roles. Here is the issue with the ridiculous criticism, you don’t understand his role whatsoever.

If you think Elneny is a better player, then that sums up your understanding.

This guy always seems alone in midfield being tasked with doing everything-DLP, CM, AM. He looks poor at times because we have so few players who can play quick and attack space. If Tuerney was fit and Partey wasn't here, is there anothet midfielder who could do better than him? No. The same excuses that have been applied to the other midfielders apply to him to. He needs as they all do, a manager with a clue and team mates who aren't deficient.

He was over run but had the courage to keep going abd6 trying. Arteta himself said that players were not moving in to the spaces thay should have and you could see that he kept playing those balls but Saka, Pepe and ESR aside, nobody linked up at all. That ball to Auba at the end was sublime and that's what he can do and what we need.

I think he's a good player, capable of some great things at times, but i'm wondering if the 'don't worry it's just the injuries, he's going to explode next season' thinking is a bit stretched. I'm sure he can improve, get more consistent, but maybe he's just a very good player, not a transformational player? Like pair him with another really good midfielder and you'll have a good midfield, but I think we should slightly adjust expectations with him.

He caught sleeping in 2nd goal and that really unacceptable by player of his standard otherwise it was typical Partey display nice passes nice tackles and a usual shot that end up outside the stadium. He was playing alone with the way Ceballos was performing

It was noticeable how we even started playing better after Ceballos got sent off
