People shouldn't underestimate the phycological impact having Partey beside them has for our other midfielders, even if he isn't playing well...he must make them feel like they can take on anything.

We used to be able to start Grimandi next to Vieira, and still look decent...

...any midfield combination we have that includes Partey, is good...any combo without him, is crap.

Overrated player. Remembered me the hype when torreira first signed. Hope not he turned out like him. But this doesn’t change the fact that he is our current best midfielder. Unfortunately, this is our level ATM. Dropped from viera, gilberto, petit level even from cazorla, ramsey, wilshere, rosicky level to partey, xhaka, elneny and ceballos level. Poor.

He has had injuries and not played that much and is getting used to his teammates and the league and so as a result been a bit sloppy. Despite that he has shown he can drive with the ball and press, controls the game and has a great passing and vision.

This guy is the second coming of Vieira. Never saw him play much before he joined us but what a player he is. He’s already playing at a very high level despite missing quite a few games and being new to the team and league. I expect him to be world class next season brilliant signing I can see why they went for him instead of Aouar you don’t turn down the chance to sign a player like this if he’s available. Wenger would still be in a job if we had got him earlier.

He is our best, I do personally think xhaka has been good for us in that time. Not amazing but capable.
