Timing of our goals this year

Feels like we don't score many early goals, or late winners, so I thought I'd look at all our league goals this year.

First half and second half are pretty even (14 vs 17).

But we've only scored 3 before 20 and only 3 after 70. The vast majority (25 out of 31) have been scored in the middle of matches.

Any thoughts on why that might be?

0 - 9: 2
10 - 19: 1
20 - 29: 4
30 - 39: 5
40 - 45: 2

45 - 50: 4
50 - 59: 3
60 - 69: 7
70 - 79: 2
80 - 89: 1
90+: 0

Mental preparation for the first 20. Fitness for the last 20.

If Arsenal was a boxer, they’d have a good chance of getting knocked out in the first 3 rounds. Then settle into a rhythm in the mid rounds. Then hang on the last couple of rounds.
