Tomáš Rosický: Little Mozart's Last Bow

Seeing how involved Diaby was in a lot of those early goals, hard not think of what could have been had they both managed to avoid all those injuries.

Have been adamant on this.

My belief is that all of his injuries stem from that horrific injury he sustained in 2006, he was apparently lucky to even get back to playing football after that. He never recovered fully and as a result his playing career from that point on was limited by that.

Which is why the claims of some on here, that he had an opportunity to show what he could, was and still is baseless, he never had an opportunity to show what he could properly do.

But what a player he could've been, after he signed in the 2005-2006 season he begun to cement himself in the starting lineup and was doing very well but he was cut down by that injury.

Never became the player we thought he would become when we signed him in 2006, even if we ignore the injuries.

Even in his best periods, he was carried by other players on the pitch.

Nice tidy footballer who had a good first touch but that is about it.

Got too many sentimental votes. Should have been shown the door years ago.

Really going to miss this guy. Never as great as he could have been but not once could I claim he didn't give everything for the shirt. A top pro who loves this club, loves our fans and loves football. As our manager once said "if you love football, you love Rosicky". Goodbye little Mozart. Thanks for all the wonderful moments, from defying the laws of physics with the outside of your boot to thunderous volleys against the ****.
