Joe Gomez red for Liverpool
That was a good second half from Sevilla.Really closed down Liverpool for the most of the time.
Liverpool will lose ugly when they face PSG Barcelona or real Madrid in next round with the defense they got
I just want to befriend James Buckley (who is a Gooner) and drive past AOC yelling bench wanker.
I'd like their job. Fly around Europe, stay in luxurious hotels, stand daydreaming near the goalposts, and get paid for it!
Get a bigger party on horseback and it'll be The Ox-Bat Incident.
Ox is destined to be the James Milner of this league.
Although, at this stage, making a comparison like that is disrespectful to Milner.
They will not qualify to the next round.
That took long.
Didn't Milner also leave City wanting to play as a CM, only to be turned into an LB? Chamberpot is definitely on the right track.
That would be embarrassing if they not qualify their group is easy.
Chamberlain is one of the biggest loser I've ever seen. Nothing player. Can't believe I forced my self into defending him for all these years. Loser.
Easier to be objective when they're not in an Arsenal shirt.
Some tasty fixtures coming up this week.
Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid. Dortmund are on fire in the BL, but Real are excellent in this competition. Auba vs Varane will be exciting. A pacy striker vs a pacy CB. Götze up against Modric and Bale vs Sokratis. Then there will be the American sensation Pulisic going up against Ronaldo! This will be a good one.
Monaco vs Porto. Porto are rampant in the Portuguese Liga with 7/7 wins. Monaco are the French Champions and play at home but have lost a lot of their Ligue One winning players. Should be an interesting game.
Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea. Simeone vs Conte. Defense vs Defense. 442 vs 343. This should a very tactical game. Can’t wait to see Simeone and Conte against each other on the touch line.
Paris Saint Germain vs Bayern Munich. This is the big one. Both teams are coming off draws in their respective leagues. Bayern look vulnerable under Ancelotti and blew away a two goal lead at home against Wolfsburg. Plus, they’ll be without Neuer (and possibly Thiago and Alaba too) and Ulreich made a horrible error last Friday, so his confidence going to Paris won’t exactly be sky high, especially when up against Neymar, Cavani, Mbappe and Co. PSG are formidable at home but their defense can be a weakness. Lewandowski, Robben, Thomas and James surely posses the quality to exploit said weakness. Hopefully this heavyweight clash won’t disappoint.
Klopp going with his strongest formation.
