They only dropped into their 451 formation much later on in the game.

They wanted to continue playing in that second half because the game state was in their favour. Inter's strengths are their rotations in their first phase and their ability to use their bounce passes and the forward-back-through technique to ridiculously high levels. And they couldnt do that.

We pinned them back and got inside their midblock repeatedly, not just them sitting back and defending their lead.

If you dont believe me... go watch that half again.

Until he comes on as a sub and has his customary 9/10 performance from the bench against tired legs and all of AM forget and forgive and start clamouring for him to start again.
