Inter away is light work for some...

...heard Vieri didn't celebrate his goal here as he just knew Henry was battering them in the second half.

I’m just going by the A-M logic tbf. Serie A was a finished league last summer and whenever we were linked to a player from there it was made out to be some farmers league.

Funny how things have shifted now…

Can’t remember who it was but someone here last season was giving it large having it out with me and saying there wasn’t a single inter player who would get in our team 😂

You think that performance was bad?

I can accept the first half being agricultural and hard to watch sure. But the second half was top IMO. I can only really fault the incessant crossing to the far post. We should have mixed it up more as they were handling that.

Commentators and pundits will want to stick the boot in. But listen out for the likes of Clive Palmer in the coming days… He’ll let you know how that was ;)
Keown is very hot defending us tbf. I think the performance was deceiving. We passed around and the stats were great but we were toothless. That's only acceptable if the score is level and were playing for the draw.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Inter have good squad inzaghi usually rotate only big miss today was Bastoni but Bessick was very good too.

That's why they Italian champions they have good team

@2Smokeyy found it 😂 😂

We are better than Inter in literally every single position.

Every. Single. Position.

Why would we even bother spending hundreds of millions of pounds (FAR more than Inter can even dream of) bringing in quality players all over the pitch, bring in Arteta to refine our football and play great football in the hardest league in the world...if you expect us to lose to Inter over 2 legs?! WTF

If you said lose in a one-off match that's kinda understandable. Anything can happen in a one-off match.

But over 180 minutes? That's insane. Get out of here. Completely out of your mind.

Yes, i think it was bad. If our only way of scoring is to cross the ball over and over again, ignore the centre of the pitch, well then, we've gone so far away from The Arsenal I love.

I honestly can't tell if you are being serious anymore.

I’m serious.

Those crosses we saw today are not some thing the team felt like doing on the day or our main style of play now. It was clearly part of the plan for Inter. You saw it in the first half as well, and they were likely meant for Merino at the far post.

On the central access discussion. Why do you think we have been bringing on Nwaneri these last few games? It’s for exactly that access you crave. Teams are not ready for his combination play between the lines, that’s why he keeps getting into those high quality shooting positions in zone 14.

You may not agree with me and think I’m deluded, that’s cool. But what I’d like you to do is watch us closely and not listen to anyone else. Watch how we play, how we adapt and change our play. Almost every necessary aspect is there.. even competing with 10 men.

Arsenal Quotes

The club changed so much, I changed with it and football has changed with us... But one thing never changes: the 90 minutes still belong to the player, 90 minutes during which he is king.
