Inter away is light work for some...

...heard Vieri didn't celebrate his goal here as he just knew Henry was battering them in the second half.

Inter didn't even start all their best guys. It was their 'cup game'.

But we dominated.

So many chances. So many corner kicks.

Our xG was off the charts.

Our field tilt was immeasurable.

Can't wait to see those heat maps of our team today, showing our domination.

Field tilt is killing me

Unfortunate loss by a penalty that, by all rights, should not have been given.

In any case, we should make a place in the first 8 based on our remaining fixtures.

We really missed Calafiori’s chaos/ bravery on the left. Would also been helpful to have Timber on the right on his more comfortable side too as when he wants/can get forward his driving/carrying with the ball is great like we saw in that run in the second half.

Trossard needs benched, Partey was great again, and it’s good to have Ode back. On to Chelsea.

I think you are the one who needs to watch us closely and not listen to anyone else.

"Zone 14"
"Clive Palmer"
etc....

And those crosses is absolutely our main style of play. As for Nwaneri, him coming on this late isn't a positive, its a negative.

On Nwaneri, I’m with you on that one. He should be starting these games. He is electric between the lines and ready for this level.

Trossard should of been off at HT, Nwaneri came on another decent cameo, least he controlled the ball and committed defenders on the turn.

Trossard lost the ball countless times and playing 10 isn't his game unlees off the banch it's him or Martinelli on the left, both have been poor for large chunks of the season and it's on November.

From the first 10 mins it looked like a 5-0 loss was incoming. Milan were just as sterile as us after that. It actually looked like they decided they were happy with a draw in the 1st half.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆

We were just bad first 10 minutes but after we clearly settle into game inter don't usually be under pressure like that and be limited offensively shouldn't happen against Chelsea this start because I'm sure they gonna try and score early to make our low confidence even lower.

Another game where we win the xG battle, but its mostly cumulative half chances, and the other team gets one golden chance (thanks FIFA's stupid change to handball laws) and scores it.

Have to say, that Sommer save on Havertz' curler was top

Inter went into this game with their eyes clearly on the weekend a little, they were thinking we will take a point here (with how this new league phase works anyway, even a loss wouldn't be bad) and we still snatched a defeat here.

One of our most embarrassing results under Arteta with context (money spent and where we should be at this point in our cycle) poor from us considering the form we are in.

The international break will feel like 2 months and not 2 weeks if we also lose to Chelsea too.

They were defensive.
Then Berlusconi bought AC Milan and hired Arigo Sacchi as manager in 1987.
And Sacchi turned it all upside down.
AC Milan started to play fluent, aggressive attacking football with high intensive pressing.
With 3 Dutchmen (Van Basten, Rijkaard and Gullit) they were unstoppable.
This is when I started to follow AC Milan, as a teenager in late 80s.

Sacchi had a very short first stint in AC Milan (until 1991), has won 1 scudetto and 2 Champion League titles (then it was called European Champions Cup).
He was very influental coach (he influenced Klopp, Pep and Ancelotti).
Ancelotti was his player in AC Milan and Sacchi gave him first job (Ancelotti was Sacchi's assistent in Italian NT).
I know i started watching football during the Gullit time at AC but I couldn’t get regular matched then in USA. Back then you had to go to an English Pub in neighboring town early on Saturdays to get any European football on satellite. Yes of course I know all the names you mentioned. Sacchi most famous coach in Italy and then Ancelotti. Buddy, i barely watch Italian football and just fell in love with their shirt when Pirelli sponsored them. I mean at most I see a few of their matches a year in Europe. Plus I remember Inter’s failed galacticos with Ronaldo and Baggio.

For me i get AC’s history like a girl I fell for the pretty Italian designed Pirelli shirt as a kid. There is nothing more to it then that

Same. Inter have been my second team in Europe. Probably since the had Ronaldo, Zamorano etc playing for them. Also the Pirelli + Nike iconic kits
Pirelli Kit Inter sexuest kit ever in football. Of course it’s Milano
