No one gives a sh*t, play the under 12s & the tea lady. Keep everyone else fit for United.

Man United will have full week of rest before they play us, if Arteta play this team he is legitimately insane.
He is a bit insane when it comes to these kind of things. I hope to be proven wrong because although he rested the attackers he played a full strength midfield and defence vs Forrest.

Hopefully that means we see rotation to a couple defenders and couple midfielders MINIMUM.

Obviously not gonna happen but I'd go with

Raya
Mosquera Saliba Gabriel MLS
Nørgaard
Nwaneri Eze
Noni Merino Martinelli

This game is basically a dead rubber. Hopefully Havertz can get some minutes.

Raya
Timber Saliba Gabriel MLS
Nørgaard
Ødegaard Merino
Madueke Gyokeres Eze
No first teamers (very useless game).

Kepa
White-Mosquera-Nørgaard-MLS
Merino
Nwaneri-Eze
Madueke-Jesus/Havertz-Martinelli

I hope Arteta uses his logic and understands that the PL needs to be a main focus right now. What’s the point in making sure you do such a good job in the CL if you’re not gonna use it to your advantage rotation wise later in the season?

I think that the team you put out in games sends an indirect message to players. I don’t like the fact he plays Marti + Madueke over Trossard + Saka vs Forrest. It said some sort of precedent that this game is more important than the Forrest game…

He probably starts Saka and Trossard just because he didn’t play them on the weekend - but I’d actually like to see Marti and Madueke start to keep the former two really fresh.
I really hope that too. Against Inter you can loose with your best team anyway. And with one win against Almaty we sould be first anyway.

So please rotate as much as possible. We have the best bench ever. But I am quite sure we will see a strong team. My team would be:

Raya
White - Saliba - Gabriel - MLS
Nørgaard
Nwaneri - Merino
Madueke - Jesus - Eze

I don't know if I read wrong info, but finishing in the top right of the CL league phase gives a team home advantage to an extent. Finishing in the top 2 means we might not have to leave London. Not sure of the accuracy and can't be bothered to check, but these new rules feel like a golden opportunity to fluke a CL trophy.

Finishing in the top 2 means we’d get the second leg at home in a semi final.

Yeah it’s not even going for 1st it’s finishing 1st even if we lose this lol. It’s a no brainer to rest from a logical perspective. But this is a big game on paper and Arteta historically treats these games with too much importance.

Focus should be on the weekend.

I agree with your team, only thing I would change is Ben White probably shouldn’t start again. Didn’t he play against Portsmouth, Chelsea and Forrest? This is how we injured him last time.

I’d like to see Mosquera there but he might not be fit yet, If that’s the case then maybe timber for 60 and white/mosquera on for 30.

MLS has to be trusted at LB we have no choice and maybe he plays into form.
