Three former CL finals there with Milan vs Liverpool and City vs Inter.

Don’t hate the new format I have to say. Lot more games but bigger clashes throughout.

Facing Atlanta in a CL game on Thursday is like when you get that promotion at work, but it's in title only because your salary stays the same.
Atalanta got CL via 4th in the league and because they won the EL battering Liverpool at Anfield en route to the final btw. They deserve to be in the competition more than most teams, some would say more than a certain juego de setpiéce team even.

Going to be interesting to see how Liverpool's savior does against a team with weapons. I'd be a bit concerned after all the trouble they had with Forest. Leao and Theo vs Trent is nightmare fuel.

You can say the same thing about Salah vs Theo.

The thing is that Nuno set Forest against Liverpool in a very smart way.
Playing compact, disciplined low block and waiting for counters.
They had 2 or 3 very good counters and have scored from one of them.

Nuno's compatriot Fonseca (current AC Milan manager) hasn't shown so far this season in Serie A that he has 5% of Nuno's skill and knowledge in organization of defense.
Chaos. lack of discipline, 6 goals conceded so far.

If he immediately doesn't find a solution, I'm afraid that Liverpool will rip them apart tomorrow.

That fixture list looks like Europa League ffs. I like the new format but all these new teams sound crap.

Salah is more than capable of going missing, as he did when their title charge collapsed last season. Theo is quick and strong. It will be a very open game because neither team are particularly compact. My point is that whether you want to give the low block credit or not, Milan are the most talented team that Liverpool have faced this season and it will be interesting to see how Slot navigates their threat.

Look, I support AC Milan (like Arsenal).
And I hope that they will win tomorrow.

But allow me to be doubtful, because I have watched them under Fonseca this season.
They can't defend and Liverpool will be their most serious opponent this season.

We'll see. It should be a good match for neutrals.

Why couldn't we have started the CL campaign with a banker like Young Boys - would they even stay up in the Championship?

Arsenal Quotes

An Arsenal fan, when you finish fourth, will say, “Hey, we’ve been in the top four for twenty years. We want to win the league!”. They don’t care that Manchester City or Chelsea have spent 300 or 400 million euros. They just want to beat them.
But if you finish fifteenth two years running, they will be happy if you finish fourth after that.
