Celtic's next 3 games are Brugge at home, Zagreb away and Young Boys at home. It's very conceivable that they might end up going through automatically. Villa away too to finish off just in time for an Emery meltdown.

If they'd kept the score down vs Dortmund they'd be 10th. Follow that up with three winnable games. If Villa keep steady possibility Villa are guaranteed top 8 and stick out a reserve side in that game. See that as more realistic than a complete Villa collapse.

Edit,.Re Ange and Rodgers - Rodgers has been heavily backed this season. Two record breaking transfers in Engels and Idah, 6m on Trusty (who surprisingly looks decent), getting Bernardo for 3m as well. Ange never got that luxury and gave some brilliant performances that never got the right results.
